In a highly competitive Class 6A, four baseball teams had built perfect records before spring break.

There's only one of those teams still standing with an undefeated record, handing another of those squads its first defeat on the season.

It's not just those aforementioned teams that have been playing well at 6A. A multitude of other clubs have also put together solid stretches, which makes for an interesting race come postseason play.

Here now is the SBLive Oklahoma Top 25 high school baseball rankings, with games updated through Tuesday.

1. Edmond Deer Creek (14-0, 5-0 6A-1)

In a matchup between two undefeated teams, the Antlers dominated Jenks to prevail, 9-1, on Saturday in the title game of the Tiger-Trojan Classic on the Trojans' home field. But Deer Creek didn't stop there, sweeping a district doubleheader Monday against Northwest Classen (18-10, 1-0) as well as posting a 10-4 win Tuesday against 3A contender Oklahoma Christian School.

2. Verdigris (14-0, 8-0 4A-5)

Verdigris swept a district doubleheader from Cleveland earlier this week, winning the first game 10-0. That marked the eighth time this season the Cardinals have scored at least 10 runs. But it was much closer in the rematch, with Verdigris squeezing out a 3-1 decision.

3. Bixby (15-1, 5-1 6A-4)

The 6A Spartans had been undefeated themselves; that is, until Tuesday, when they were upended at Tahlequah, 4-2, a day after downing the Tigers, 15-0.

4. Owasso (15-1, 6-0 6A-3)

Owasso spent its spring break in Florida, and came away winning six of seven ballgames. One of those happened to be a milestone, with longtime Rams coach Larry Turner notching his 1,200th win. The Rams returned to Oklahoma and recorded identical 17-0 wins to sweep a district series with Putnam City North.

5. Jenks (16-1, 6-0 6A-3)

Last weekend's loss to Deer Creek snapped a 19-game winning streak for the Trojans, dating back to last season, when Jenks claimed the 6A title. But Jenks quickly shook off that loss by rolling to a district series sweep against U.S. Grant, winning 20-0 and then 15-0.

6. Tuttle (16-1, 7-1 4A-1)

The Tigers won their first 15 ballgames on the season before falling, 5-4, to Harrah on Monday. But on Tuesday, Tuttle got payback in the second game of the district series, registering an 8-1 win.

7. Silo (8-0)

In winning last weekend's Rattan Tournament, the Rebels scored a total of 31 runs. They followed that up on Monday with an 11-0 win against Caddo.

8. Canute (9-0)

The top-ranked team in Class A, the Trojans own wins against Class 6A, 5A and 3A schools in addition to wins against their own classification. Canute totaled 29 runs in winning last weekend's Amber-Pocasset Tournament and also had 16 runs in a win earlier this week against Lookeba-Sickles.

9. Victory Christian (16-1, 8-0 3A-7)

Victory Christian has won its last six games, averaging exactly 14 runs in that span. In Tuesday's 12-1 win against Henryetta, it was the 13th time the Conquerors had scored at least nine runs in a game.

10. Piedmont (14-2, 6-0 5A-1)

Piedmont has won five straight games, including a district sweep against El Reno (6-15, 0-0). The Wildcats have also won 12 of their last 13 ballgames.

The Fightin' Chicks stayed atop 4A-2 with identical 16-0 wins this week against Classen SAS. Chickasha has also won 10 of its last 11 games.

12. Edmond Santa Fe (12-3, 5-0 6A-2)

After rolling to two district wins against Capitol Hill (17-20, 0-0), the Wolves have won five of their last seven contests. Their only two losses in that stretch were to Bixby and Edmond North.

13. Westmoore (13-4, 5-1 6A-1)

The Jaguars stayed within striking distance of Deer Creek in the district standings with a sweep this week against Putnam City West. Westmoore won the first game, 11-4, and then posted a 13-0 win on Tuesday.

14. Ada (13-1, 6-0 4A-2)

Ada is one of four teams with perfect records in 4A-2 play. The Cougars helped do their part with back-to-back 12-0 wins against Oklahoma City Douglass earlier this week.

15. Edmond North (12-2, 3-2 6A-1)

Since a tough 1-0 loss to crosstown rival Deer Creek, the Huskies have reeled off six straight wins. Their last two came against Putnam City, with North posting a 14-3 win as well as a 20-1 decision.

16. Tulsa Union (11-5, 5-1 6A-4)

In their last four ballgames, the Redhawks have scored a total of 47 runs. But they lost two of those games, including a wild 18-17 affair to Stillwater on Tuesday night.

17. Cushing (15-2, 7-1 4A-6)

The Tigers have been rolling, as they have currently reeled off 10 straight wins. That included a district sweep earlier this week against Inola, as Cushing took a 10-0 win in the opener before taking the second game, 17-5.

18. Choctaw (10-2, 3-1 6A-2)

Choctaw cooled off what had been a red-hot Norman squad in the two teams' district series Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, the Yellowjackets outlasted the Tigers, 7-6. The following day, Choctaw won handily at Norman, 10-0, the seventh time this season the Yellowjackets have scored at least 10 runs.

19. Sand Springs (13-3, 4-2 6A-3)

The Sandites won a pair of tightly contested games against Broken Arrow in district play. On Monday, Sand Springs prevailed in extra innings, 4-3. The next day, the Sandites were once again victorious, 5-3.

20. Stillwater (12-3, 5-1 6A-4)

There were two one-run ballgames in the Pioneers' district series earlier this week with Tulsa Union. Stillwater lost the opener, 5-4, but came back to grab a wild 18-17 win on Tuesday, the Pioneers' sixth win in their last seven contests.

21. Norman (10-3, 3-2 6A-2)

The Tigers had won seven straight ballgames before dropping their district series this week to Choctaw on consecutive days.

22. Blanchard (14-1, 6-0 4A-2)

23. Spiro (9-1, 8-0 3A-7)

The Bulldogs are tied with Victory Christian atop 3A-7 after posting a series sweep against Checotah, winning 14-5 on Monday and then 8-3 on Tuesday. Spiro's only loss was to Class 4A Stigler.
