Oklahoma's 11-man high school football state championship games will stay at their current home for the next five seasons.

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) voted at its Wednesday meeting to keep the Class A through 6A title games at Chad Richison Stadium in Edmond through 2027. The OSSAA began using the University of Central Oklahoma’s football stadium for a single-site format in 2019, and all seven of the 11-man state championship games have been held there since.

Thanks in large part to donations from the stadium’s namesake - the founder and CEO of Paycom, as well as a UCO alum - the stadium underwent renovations prior to the 2022 season.

The stadium now seats nearly 12,000 people and an updated video board stands behind a waterfall in the south end of the stadium.
