TO Barrett, Edmond North boys basketball

The Huskies had to rally from a halftime deficit against Broken Arrow in the Class 6A finals and a big part of that was thanks to the play of Barrett, who scored a game-high 17 points in the 57-48 win, including four 3-pointers.

Elle Papahronis, Edmond North girls basketball

The Lady Huskies completed a perfect 29-0 season on Saturday afternoon with a 65-58 win against Norman for the 6A title. The senior went out in style, scoring 30 points and nabbing 11 rebounds.

The win clinched Edmond North’s second consecutive state title.

Brandon Garrison, Del City boys basketball

In a Class 5A state championship game that went down to the wire, it was Garrison’s tip-in with 21 seconds left that won the game for Del City.

In the 37-35 overtime win against Midwest City Carl Albert, Garrison had 17 points and gathered in 16 rebounds.

Stailee Heard, Sapulpa girls basketball

Heard showed why she is one of the best players in the state in Saturday's 75-74 Lady Chieftain championship win against Holland Hall. Heard finished her high school career by scoring 41 points, grabbing eight rebounds, but most importantly, scoring the game-winning basket as time expired.

Terry McMorris, OKC Douglass boys basketball

The Trojans claimed an 11th state title on Saturday night thanks in large part to a huge effort from McMorris. He led the way for Douglass, scoring 20 points and gathering 14 rebounds in the 48-44 win against Weatherford.

Keziah Lofton, Bethany girls basketball

As a sophomore, Lofton led the charge for the Lady Bronchos en route to a Class 4A state championship win against Lincoln Christian. She scored a game-high 21 points in the 48-36 win.

Zhyir Fisher, OKC Millwood boys basketball

Leading by a point with four seconds remaining in the Class 3A state championship game, Fisher went to the free-throw line and sank two free throws, putting his team up by three.

Fisher also led his team in scoring with 17 points as the Falcons went on to repeat as 3A state champions.

Sofi Woodson, Jones girls basketball

The Lady Longhorns defeated Washington, 39-33, to win their third straight state championship on Saturday evening. Woodson came on late, scoring all nine of her points in the second half and gathering 13 rebounds.

Dayton Forsythe, Dale boys basketball

The Pirates won their second consecutive title as their junior standout tallied 29 points in Dale's 78-52 win against Oklahoma Christian Academy for the 2A title as the Pirates capped a perfect 32-0 season.

Makenzy Herman, Dale girls basketball

The Lady Pirates defeated Howe, 48-23, to finish the year 31-2, capped by winning the 2A championship. Herman had a game-high 13 points, one of three Lady Pirates in double figures.
