Vote now: Who should be SBLive’s Oklahoma high school athlete of the week?

The spring sports season has started for Oklahoma schools and there were several individual performances to highlight within the past week, which we will do below.
Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oklahoma high school athlete of the week for March 20-26. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to nominate an athlete, email athleteoftheweek@scorebooklive.com or tag us on Twitter.
Kade Matthews/Grayson Childers, Broken Arrow baseball
In a run-rule win against Edmond Santa Fe in the Broken Arrow Festival, Matthews and Childers led the way. Matthews was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and Childers was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and five RBIs.
Owen Bailor, Bixby baseball
In 3.2 scoreless innings, Bailor only allowed two singles and struck out five in a 6-0 win against Edmond North. The 6-foot-5 senior is working his way back into the rotation after an elbow injury sidelined him late last year.
Jake Williams, Noble baseball
The senior was on top of his game in an 11-0 run rule win against Choctaw. Williams struck out eight in five innings en route to the victory.
Isaiah Sallee, Porum baseball
Sallee wowed on the mound against Oaks, striking out eight batters in a 7-0 win. He only allowed two singles.
Melissa Haunpo, Chickasha girls soccer
Haunpo scored what ended up being the game-winning goal against Crossings Christian to win the Chickasha Tournament.
Kadyn Murphy, Midwest City Carl Albert girls soccer
The Lady Titans won the Titan Championship over the weekend, outscoring their three opponents, 15-2. Murphy scored five of those goals.
Diego Espinoza, McAlester boys soccer
With the match against Muskogee tied and the final penalty kicker up, Espinoza had a chance to win the match for the Buffs and he did just that by drilling the ball into the back of the net.
Edmond North Golf
The Huskies and Lady Huskies competed in tournaments last week and both came away as first-place winners. On the guys’ side, Parker Sands was the first-place finisher.
Classen SAS Golf
Both the Comets and Lady Comets took home first-place trophies at the All City Athletic Conference Championship last week. Luca Dunnington and Caleb Still finished first and second, respectively, on the guys’ side and Semony Shah and Mary Bauer each finished first and second in its respective the tournament at Surrey Hills Golf Club.
Scarlet Sturch, Durant girls golf
Sturch shot a 69 at the McAlester Invitational, which was 11 strokes better than the second-place finisher at last week’s tournament.
Thomas Gothard, Tulsa Union boys track
Gothard won the 400-meter dash at the Bartlesville Invitational meet with a time of 50.82, finishing two seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
Campbell Barta, Bartlesville girls track
At the Bartlesville Invitational meet last week, Barta competed in the 200-meter dash and won with a time of 25.07.
Zane Zamanski, Southwest Covenant boys track
Zamanski competed in the 60th annual Ed Forrester Bethany Invitational and threw the shot put 52-3. That throw was five feet further than the second-place competitor.
Kat Meacham, Clinton girls track
At the 60th annual Ed Forrester Bethany Invitational, Meacham won the discus throw with a toss of 137-3. That throw is 19 feet better than the second-place finisher.
Cael Hughes, Stillwater boys wrestling
Hughes recently became a part of a select group of wrestlers to win four state championships in the state of Oklahoma. Over the weekend, the Oklahoma State University signee was awarded the Team USA Outstanding Wrestler Award at an event in Pittsburgh.
