Kash Mayfield, Elk City baseball

Mayfield did a little bit of everything for the Elks in their dominating win last week. He pitched a no-hitter, striking out 11, and also hit three home runs.

Jackson Ferrell, Owasso baseball

In what turned out to be a pitcher's duel, Ferrell won the battle, striking out eight and allowing only three hits in the 2-1 win against Jenks.

Braxton Givens, Chickasha baseball

Chickasha had a big district sweep against Byng last week and in the 5-2 win on April 11, Givens hit a three-run homer to get the offense going.

Declan Murphy, Midwest City Carl Albert baseball

Murphy was dominant in a 10-1 win against Bishop McGuinness, as the right-hander struck out 11 over six innings pitched. The sophomore’s fastball topped out at 86 miles per hour.

Charlie Trachte, Lawton Eisenhower baseball

In a double-header against cross-town rival Lawton MacArthur, Trachte had a great first game in a 21-3 win and had the game-winning hit in the 4-3 nightcap.

Tres Lorah, Elgin baseball

The Owls got a 5-2 win against Duncan on April 11, which completed the season-sweep. Lorah drove home the game-tying run and scored the game-winning run.

Jaxon Willits, Fort-Cobb Broxton baseball

The Mustangs are one of the favorites to win the Class B crown this year, and they got a big 9-1 win against Weatherford last week. In that game, Willits hit a two-run home run and led the game off with a double.

Jaime Carranza, McAlester boys soccer

In a crucial district win against Del City, Carranza scored two goals in a 3-2 victory. The win moves the Buffs to 10-2 on the year.

As a sophomore, Seaton has had a sensational season so far. She recently broke the school’s record for most goals scored.

Last week, Seaton added a hat trick and an assist in a 10-0 win against Madill and was part of a relay team that broke the 4 x 100 school record.
