Seaton has set five school records, helped give Cache girls track team first title

By Buck Ringgold

Jacee Seaton has had several record-breaking performances in just a short amount of time at Cache.

Only a sophomore, Seaton has already set five school records playing for the girls soccer and track teams. In soccer, she is already the school's all-time leader in career goals with 67 (30 this season), and she holds the record for the state's top Class 4A regular season district leading goal scorer as a freshman and sophomore.

Then at the Class 4A state track meet May 5-6, she was part of the 400 and 800-meter relay squads that set school records, with the 800 winning first place (1:44.25) and the 400 finishing as runner-up (48.95). Her performance helped give Cache the overall 4A team title, the first track championship in school history.

For her efforts, Seaton was voted the SBLive Oklahoma Athlete of the Week covering May 1-7.
