Congratulations to Sprague forward Dallon Morgan for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 7-13!

The senior turned in a double-double, with 32 points and 14 rebounds, as he helped the Olympians post a 77-47 win over South Salem in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at Sprague High School. 

Morgan received 39.9% of the vote, beating out Canby's Alex Evans, who finished second with 22.4%. Prospect Charter's Theo James finished third with 13.78% and Lincoln's Graham Eikenberry finished fourth with 5.27%

Jalen Atkins, Barlow

The freshman guard scored a game-high 20 points while also dishing off four assists for the Bruins in their 68-45 win over Sandy in a Mt. Hood Conference contest played at Sandy High School. 

C.J. Borin, Nelson

The junior post scored 25 points, tying him for game-high honors, on a 12-for-15 shooting night from the field, while also having five rebounds and four assists, as he helped the Hawks earn a 69-55 win over Centennial in a Mt. Hood Conference game played at Centennial High School.

Kavon Bradford, Benson

The junior scored a game-high 36 points for the Techmen in a 74-72 overtime loss to Roosevelt in a Portland Interscholastic League contest played at Roosevelt High School. 

Kalim Brown, Tigard

The junior guard scored a career-high 40 points, on a 14-for-21 shooting night from the field, for the Tigers in a 78-71 loss to Tualatin in a Three Rivers League contest played at Tualatin High School. 

Jessley Bukeyeneza, Century

The freshman guard scored a game-high 18 points while also having three rebounds, an assist and a steal for the Jaguars in their 50-47 win over Forest Grove in a Pacific Conference game played at Century High School. 

Braedyn Cantrell, Pleasant Hill

The senior guard scored a game-high and season-high 32 points to help the Billies post a 67-59 win over Harrisburg in a Mountain Valley Conference contest.

Graham Eikenberry, Lincoln

The 6-foot-11 junior post scored 21 points, on a 10-for-11 shooting night from the field, while also pulling down nine rebounds, as he helped the Cardinals earn an 87-67 win over Jefferson in Portland Interscholastic League action. 

Alex Evans, Canby

The senior guard scored a game-high 24 points, including 13 in the first quarter, while also sinking the winning free throws with 0.3 second left, helping the Cougars get a 62-61 win over Lake Oswego in a Three Rivers League thriller played at Canby High School. 

Lane Fort, Corbett

The senior had a double-double, with 20 points and 12 rebounds, while also having five assists for the Cardinals in their 68-56 win over Molalla in Tri-Valley Conference play.

Jaden Foster, St. Mary’s

The junior post/wing scored a game-high 23 points, including 12 in the decisive fourth quarter, to help lead the Crusaders from Medford to a 55-54 win over Brookings-Harbor in a Far West League contest.

Hawthorne Lapierre, Ashland

The senior guard/forward scored a game-high 26 points, helping the Grizzlies post a 57-53 win over Crater in a Midwestern League game played at Crater High School.

Mark Hamper, West Linn

The junior wing, who recently returned from injury, had a big all-around performance, with 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Lions in their 71-62 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League game played at Tigard High School.

Terrance Hill, Roosevelt

The sophomore guard scored a game-high 36 points, to go with five steals and four assists, as he helped the Roughriders post a 100-47 win over Jefferson in a Portland Interscholastic League contest played at Roosevelt High School.

Theo James, Prospect Charter

The senior post had a double-double, with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while also having five steals and four blocked shots, as well as a couple of clutch free throws with one second to play, helping the Cougars earn a 57-54 Mountain Valley League road win over Chiloquin. 

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The 6-foot-11 sophomore center had another strong all-around game for the Challengers, scoring a game-high 14 points while also having eight rebounds and three blocked shots in their 57-30 win over Creswell in a Far West League game played at Cascade Christian. Maurer also scored a school-record 41 points in a 74-66 loss to Douglas. 

Julian Mora, Summit

The point guard continued his amazing senior season, pouring in 36 points while also dishing off six assists, helping the undefeated Storm get a 93-65 win over Mountain View in a Mountain Valley Conference game. Mora then scored 25 points in a 92-69 win over South Salem, making him Summit’s all-time leading scorer.

Jacob Newell, Thurston

The senior post had a strong overall game, with 19 points, nine rebounds and two assists, as he helped the Colts notch a 54-51 victory over Willamette in a Midwestern League game played at Thurston High School. Newell also scored 28 points in a 61-49 loss to Eagle Point. 

Noah Ogoli, Tualatin

The guard continued his standout senior season, scoring a team-high 25 points for the Timberwolves in a 78-71 win over rival Tigard in a Three Rivers League game played at Tualatin High School.

Scotty Riddle, Gresham

The junior scored a team-high 18 points, going 8 for 10 from the free throw line in the second half, helping the Gophers earn a 47-43 win over rival Barlow in a key Mt. Hood Conference game played at Barlow High School. 

Jackson Risinger, Santiam Christian

The senior guard scored a team-high 25 points, sinking six 3-pointers in the process, as he helped the Eagle record an 86-66 win over Pleasant Hill in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at Pleasant Hill High School. 

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The junior guard had a double-double, scoring a game-high 24 points to go with 10 rebounds, while also coming up with five assists for the Lions in their 71-62 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League contest played at Tigard High School. 

Tommy Slack, West Salem

The junior guard had a big shooting night, going 5 for 7 from 3-point range on his way to scoring 25 points for the Titans in their 68-47 win over McNary in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at McNary High School. Slack also had five rebounds and four assists in the victory. 

Matthew Verkamp, Sherwood

The junior wing had a double-double, with 15 points and 10 rebounds, as he helped the Bowmen notch a 69-33 win over McMinnville in a Pacific Conference contest played at Sherwood High School. 

Triston Wallace, Cascade Christian

The junior forward had a double-double, with a career-high 18 points to go with 11 rebounds, as he helped the Challengers earn a 53-37 win over South Umpqua in a Far West League game played at South Umpqua. 

Jackson Weiland, South Medford

The sophomore guard had a double-double, with 19 points and 10 rebounds, as he helped the Panthers post a 71-41 win over South Eugene in a Southwest Conference contest. 

Chance White, Roosevelt

The sophomore guard scored a game-high 28 points, while also having seven assists and five rebounds, as he helped the Roughriders post a 93-42 win over McDaniel in Portland Interscholastic League action.
