Oregon’s best high school girls basketball players: Meet the top stars in the 6A Three Rivers League
We’re taking a conference-by-conference look at some of the state’s top high school basketball players. Here’s the Three Rivers League girls list.
Every league has numerous standout players, and these lists are not intended to be comprehensive. Let us know which other players you think should be added to the list.

Canby
G Allie Mead, jr., 5-7
A varsity standout since her freshman season, Mead is a strong all-around point guard who leads Canby in assists. Head coach Ingrid McCoy said Mead is a great rebounder for a guard. “She is a good passer and an aggressive player,” McCoy added.
G Kayley Borntrager, sr., 5-6
Borntrager is a senior leader and one of Canby’s top scoring options. McCoy said Borntrager is looking to continue her basketball career at Clackamas Community College. “She is a great defender,” McCoy said.
P RayAnne Schedler, so., 5-10
Only a sophomore, Schedler is already the Cougars’ leading rebounder. “She knows how to compete and is learning a lot at the varsity level,” McCoy said.
Lake Oswego
P Lily Carlson, sr., 6-0
A four-year varsity starter, Carlson is averaging 5.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game as a senior. Head coach Kaitlin Childs said Carlson is a versatile post who excels on both ends of the court. “Lily’s passing ability and shooting ability is a focal point of our offense,” Childs said. “Defensively, Lily is a strong presence, deflecting shots and passes in and around the key.”
W Chloe Carnegie, sr., 5-9
Carnegie is a do-everything senior leader for the Lakers. “She plays any position from point guard to post and is an extremely smart defender,” Childs said. "Chloe can score off the drive or on a mid-range jumper.”
G Riley Ha, so., 5-7
Ha, a sophomore point guard, is Lake Oswego’s leading scorer at 7.8 points per game. She is also an adept rebounder (6.2 per game) and a defensive menace who averages around four steals per game. “Riley uses her speed to generate steals and get our team down the floor in transition on fast breaks,” Childs said.
Lakeridge
G Reese Ericson, sr., 5-7
Ericson is a strong all-around lead guard who has ample experience at the varsity level. She is filling up the stat sheet as a senior by averaging 11.8 points, 7.4 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game. “Reese has committed to West Point (Army) to continue her dreams of playing basketball at the next level,” head coach Jason Brown said.
W Keelie O’Hollaren, jr., 5-10
O’Hollaren is leading the Pacers in scoring at 18.5 points per game. She is also a strong rebounder (seven per game) who is receiving interest from several Division I schools, according to Brown. “She will have some good opportunities to continue playing after high school,” Brown said.
P Kiersten Weiler, sr., 6-1
Lakeridge’s defensive anchor, Weiler is putting up six rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a senior. “She protects the paint and the basket for us very well,” Brown said.
W Kemper Flood, sr., 5-9
Flood, another senior leader for the talented Pacers, is putting up seven points and five rebounds per game this winter. “She is off to a great start,” Brown said in January. “Defensively, she is at the top of our press and puts a lot of pressure on opposing offenses.”
Oregon City
G Grace Leasure, sr., 6-0
A big guard with long arms, Leasure has signed with Seattle Pacific. Head coach Tiffani Traver said Leasure tips many passes in Oregon City’s press due to her length and instincts. “She also attacks the basket hard and is able to use her height to her advantage,” the coach said.
G Anya Remsburg, sr., 5-6
Remsburg is a quick guard who excels on the defensive end. The senior will continue her basketball career at Corban. “She is very fast and can attack, and she can also shoot,” Traver said.
G/F Kaydyn Guelsdorf, sr., 5-8
A versatile player, Guelsdorf can play nearly anywhere on the court for the Pioneers. Traver said Guelsdorf is a smart player who reads the court well and does an excellent job of defending in the paint. “We ask a lot of Kaydyn, and she steps up every time,” Traver said. “She is an excellent leader who helps keep our team focused and on track.”
St. Mary’s Academy
G Abby Graham, sr., 5-10
Graham is a talented offensive player who possesses a strong handle and outshot shot. She has received interest from multiple Division I schools. “Abby can score in multiple ways,” Blues coach Sheena Moore said. “She is a fantastic three-point shooter and can penetrate and shoot mid-range. She is a strong guard who handles the ball very well and is extremely physical and will overpower most guards in Oregon.”
P/F Jewyl Newton, sr., 5-11
Newton didn’t play last season but has been a two-way standout for the Blues as a senior. “Jewyl is a force in the paint and is an excellent rebounder,” Moore said. “She has a soft touch around the rim and can shoot in the mid-range as well.”
G Tyra Trimble, sr., 5-8
Trimble, a senior guard, was an all-TRL honorable mention recipient a season ago. “Tyra is a quick guard and one of our best defenders,” Moore said. “She is solid offensively as well as she can shoot and slash to the rim.”
Tigard
P Sarah Lamet, sr., 6-4
A varsity contributor since her freshman season, Lamet is putting up 18.6 points per game as a senior. She has signed to play college basketball for St. Martin’s. “Sarah is one of the top post players in the area,” head coach Heidi DeHaan said.
G Hailey Shimojima, jr., 5-5
In her third season at the varsity level, Shimojima is a traditional point guard with great vision and a willingness to pass. She is averaging five assists per game as a junior. “Hailey is also our second-leading scorer,” DeHaan said.
G Anna Follett, sr., 5-10
Follett is a senior leader for the Tigers who can do many things on the court, including scoring when needed. “Anna is a great rebounder and passer,” DeHaan said.
G Alyssa Moore, sr., 5-6
A breakthrough senior, Moore has elevated her game since last year’s spring season. “She has become a really great shooter and attacker from the wing,” DeHaan said.
Tualatin
G Tabi Searle, jr., 5-11
Tualatin’s only healthy returnee who logged substantial varsity minutes a season ago, Searle is a strong offensive player for the Timberwolves. She was averaging 15.3 points per game at midseason. “Tabi is a versatile player who can score inside and out,” head coach Wes Pappas said.
P Jaylyn Arosemena, so., 5-11
Arosemena mostly played at the junior varsity level last spring but has immense potential, Pappas said. “She can also score from inside and out, is a good passer and is fastly becoming a standout defender,” Pappas added.
G Anna Sherman, jr., 5-7
Sherman is a reliable guard who is helping Tualatin on both ends of the court. “Anna is a cerebral player that can really shoot it,” Pappas said. “Other than Tabi, she has the best understanding of our systems and is emerging as a top-level defender that also gives us scoring on offense.”
West Linn
P Audrey Kehoe, sr., 6-1
Now in a starring role following the graduation of Aaronette Vonleh, Kehoe is a veteran interior presence who can score and defend. “She has developed into a very solid post player with great moves around the hoop,” head coach Brooke Cates said.
W Alana Molden, sr., 5-7
Molden is also an experienced varsity player who is the leader of West Linn’s defense. “Alana is a lockdown defender and all-around incredible athlete,” Cates said.
G Allie Roden, fr., 5-9
Younger sister of former West Linn standout and current Nevada guard Audrey Roden, Allie is a freshman guard who has a bright future. “She is a super-skilled player who plays with her motor running on high on both ends of the court,” Cates said.
P Isabella McVickers, sr., 5-7, and P Olivia McVickers, sr., 5-7
The senior twins both received all-TRL honorable mention a season ago and are “dynamos” on the court, Cates said. “They are both crafty offensive players who are also great defenders,” Cates added.
