Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 28-March 6 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers. 

Read through the nominees and cast your vote. We’ll send a free SBLive T-shirt to the winner of the poll! Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday.

Mathias Billings, De La Salle North Catholic

The senior wing helped lead the Knights to the championship game of the Class 3A state tournament, held at Marshfield High School. Billings, a unanimous all-tournament first-team pick, averaged 14.3 points and 9.0 rebounds at the event.

Braydon Boe, Mountainside

The freshman guard scored a team-high 19 points and he had five rebounds for the Mavericks in their 64-52 win over Benson in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game played at Mountainside High School. 

Kavon Bradford, Benson

The junior led all scorers with 28 points and he pulled down six rebounds for the Techmen in a 64-52 loss to Mountainside in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game played at Mountainside High School. 

Kaleb Burnett, Junction City

The junior post/wing scored a game-high 20 points to help the Tigers earn a 54-39 win over Molalla in a Class 4A state playoff game played at Junction City High School.

Winters Grady, Lake Oswego

The freshman wing scored a game-high 22 points, helping the Lakers post a 59-42 win over Mountain View in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game played at Lake Oswego. Grady scored a team-high 13 points in a 45-44 second-round loss at Tualatin. 

Christian Green, Cleveland

The junior wing helped the Warriors earn their first state tournament quarterfinal berth since 1962, scoring a team-high 21 points in a 63-53 win over Lincoln in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Cleveland High School.

Trevon Hamilton, Beaverton

The senior guard had a strong overall game, with 10 points, four assists, four rebounds and three steals, as he helped the Beavers get a 45-44 win over Grant in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Beaverton High School.

Caden Harris, Summit

The senior had a double-double, with 16 points and 10 rebounds, as he helped the unbeaten Storm earn a 76-50 win over Barlow in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Summit High School.

Boden Howell, South Medford

The freshman guard scored a game-high 25 points, while also having three assists and two steals, helping the Panthers earn a 62-53 win over West Salem in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at South Medford High School. 

Isaiah Koehnke, Regis

The freshman guard averaged a tournament-best 18.3 points per game for the Rams at the Class 2A state tournament, held at the Pendleton Convention Center. Koehnke, a first-team all-tournament selection, had 28 points and five assists for Regis in a 67-49 win over Heppner. 

Landon Knox, Crosshill Christian

The freshman guard, who was a first-team all-tournament pick, led all scorers at the Class 1A state tournament, held at Baker High School. Knox averaged 26.7 points per game at the event. He scored 33 points for the Eagles in a 78-64 semifinal loss to eventual champion Crane. 

Devon Malcolm, South Medford

The senior forward had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Panthers in their 62-53 win over West Salem in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at South Medford High School. Malcolm also had three blocked shots and three steals in the victory.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The sophomore center helped lead the Challengers to the Class 3A state championship at the tournament held at Marshfield High School. Maurer, a unanimous first-team all-tournament selection, averaged a tournament-best 24.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game. He had 26 points, 16 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Challengers in their 52-45 win over De La Salle North Catholic in the Class 3A state championship game. 

Adrian Mosley, Grant

The junior wing scored a game-high 26 points while also having five rebounds and three assists for the Generals in a 69-54 win over Gresham in a Class 6A first-round state playoff game held at Grant High School. 

Julian Mora, Summit

The senior guard scored a game-high 20 points, helping the Storm earn a 76-50 win over Barlow in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Summit High School.

Samaje Morgan, Churchill

The senior guard scored a game-high 14 points, while also having six assists, helping the Lancers notch a 59-24 victory over The Dalles in a Class 5A state playoff game held at Churchill High School. 

Logan Morrill, Knappa

The senior post stepped up for the Loggers at the Class 2A state tournament, held at the Pendleton Convention Center. Morrill, a first-team all-tournament selection, averaged a tournament-best 10.7 rebounds per game at the event, while also scoring at a 14.3 clip. 

Carter Nichols, Crane

The sophomore guard helped lead the Mustangs to the championship at the Class 1A state tournament, held at Baker High School. Nichols, an all-tournament first-team selection, scored 15 points while also having five assists and four steals in a 62-53 win over South Wasco County in the state championship game. 

Noah Ogoli, Tualatin

The senior guard scored a game-high 16 points to help the Timberwolves earn a 45-44 win over Lake Oswego in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Tualatin High School. Ogoli scored 26 points in a first-round win over Roseburg. 

John Pass, Salem Academy

The senior guard helped lead the Crusaders to the championship game of the Class 2A state tournament, held at the Pendleton Convention Center. Pass, a unanimous first-team all-tournament pick, averaged 17 points per game during the event. He scored a game-high 21 points in Salem Academy’s 54-53 double-overtime loss to Western Christian in the state title game.  

Cody Reece, Cascade Christian

The senior guard helped lead the Challengers to the championship at the Class 3A state tournament held at Marshfield High School. Reece, a first-team all-tournament pick, averaged 14.3 points, 6.7 assists and 6.7 assists per game at the event. 

Moroni Seely-Roberts, Lincoln

The junior post scored a game-high 36 points while also having 10 rebounds for the Cardinals in a 63-53 loss to Cleveland in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at Cleveland High School. 

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The junior guard scored a game-high 40 points, sinking six 3-pointers in the process, helping the Lions earn a 71-54 win over Jesuit in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game played at West Linn High School. Shelstad scored 37 points in a first-round victory over Ida B. Wells. 

Cody Siegner, Crane

The freshman post helped lead the Mustangs to the championship at the Class 1A state tournament, held at Baker High School. Siegner, a first-team all-tournament pick, stepped up in the team’s 62-53 title game victory over South Wasco County, having 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Austin Sladek, Western Christian

The senior wing helped lead the Pioneers to the championship at the Class 2A state tournament, held at the Pendleton Convention Center. Sladek, a first-team all-tournament selection, averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game at the event. He had 19 points, nine rebounds and five steals in the team’s 54-53 double-overtime win over Western Christian in the Class 2A state title game. 

Tyler Spink, Dayton

The senior earned first-team all-tournament accolades at the Class 3A state tournament, held at Marshfield High School. Spink averaged 17 points per game, while sinking a tournament-best eight 3-pointers.

Oscar Thomas, South Wasco County

The senior guard, a unanimous first-team all-tournament selection, helped lead the Redsides to the championship game of the Class 1A state tournament, held at Baker High School. Thomas averaged 24.0 points and 3.0 steals per game at the event. 

Jameson Ye, Westside Christian

The senior guard helped the Eagles claim the third-place trophy at the Class 3A state tournament, which concluded Saturday at Marshfield High School. Ye, a first-team all-tournament pick, averaged 19.0 points per game at the event.
