Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for March 28-April 3 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Ashland baseball

Ashland (7-1) won a tight 6-5 decision over Mazama on Thursday, then swept North Bend by a combined score of 22-2 on Saturday.

Astoria softball

Astoria (7-2) notched wins over Clatskanie, North Marion and Gladstone by a combined count of 42-3. The team has put up 20 or more runs three times this season. 

Bend softball

Bend (11-0) beat Redmond, Crook County and Glencoe by a combined score of 42-1. The Lava Bears have given up more than two runs to only one opponent this season. 

Clackamas baseball

Clackamas (7-1) earned an 8-2 win at Westview on Tuesday and a 14-4 home win over West Albany on Friday. 

Gresham softball

Gresham (8-1) totaled 69 runs in three wins, putting up 38 in a home victory over McKay. The Gophers have reached double digits in runs six times this season. 

Jesuit softball

Jesuit (10-0) earned a 2-1 win over McNary on Wednesday and a 5-4 win over Sheldon on Monday to stay perfect on the season. 

La Grande baseball

La Grande (8-1) earned a 12-1 win over Seaside and a 12-5 win over North Marion on Friday, then returned to the field to blank Astoria 17-0 on Saturday. 

Lake Oswego girls track

The Lake Oswego girls piled up 291 points to beat runner-up Tualatin by more than 130 points during Friday’s Laker Classic Invitational. The Lakers won 9 of the 10 races on the track, including 1-2 sweeps in three events.

Molalla boys/girls track

Molalla swept its eight-team home invitational on Friday with the girls scoring 142 points, while the boys finished with 130 points. The team scored first-place points across 11 events. 

Mountain View baseball

Mountain View (9-1) won three games over two days, beating Madras 11-1 on Friday and sweeping a doubleheader at Sandy by a combined count of 19-1 on Saturday.

Newberg softball

Newberg (9-0) edged Mountainside 1-0 on Wednesday and swept a doubleheader with Grants Pass by a combined score of 18-6 on Saturday.

Oregon City girls track

The Oregon City girls scored 134 points to win the 13-team West Salem Invitational on Saturday. The Pioneers won seven events. Oregon City had a 1-2 sweep in the long jump and filled two of the top three spots in the high jump.

Pendleton softball

Pendleton (6-0) had shutout wins over Cottage Place (WA) and La Salle Prep and has given up only one run all season. 

Ridgeview baseball

Ridgeview (7-2) extended its win streak to seven games with a 22-0 win over Benson and an 11-1 win over St. Helens on Saturday.

Sherwood baseball

Sherwood (6-1) notched a 13-6 win at South Salem on Thursday and has scored in double digits four times in the first two weeks of the season. 

South Medford baseball

South Medford (8-0) swept Mazama by a combined score of 19-4 on Thursday, then swept McNary by a total count of 18-6 on Saturday.

Sunset baseball

Sunset (7-1) opened the Metro League schedule with a 5-1 win at Jesuit on Monday. The Apollos have surrendered a total of seven runs in their eight games this season. 

Sunset boys track

The Sunset boys scored 190.5 points to win the 15-team Laker Classic at Lake Oswego on Friday. The Apollos won the 1,600-meter relay and had three runner-up finishes. 

Sweet Home softball

Sweet Home (8-1) opened Oregon West play with wins over Woodburn, Philomath and Sisters by a combined score of 41-3.

Tualatin softball

Tualatin (7-0) earned a 5-2 win at Barlow on Monday, a 6-1 win at Glencoe on Tuesday and a 4-1 win over Westview on Friday — all opponents which finished in the top half of their leagues last year. 

West Salem boys track

The West Salem boys won their home invitational with 117.75 points to beat runner-up Bend by more than 25 points. The Titans won every race from the 400 to the 3,000-meter distances. 

Wilsonville baseball

Wilsonville (5-1) moved up a class to take a 15-5 win at Gresham on Thursday, then traveled to Pendleton for a 12-9 win Friday.
