The senior right-handed pitcher threw a no-hitter, striking out 13 batters and walking just one, as he helped lead the Spartans to a 2-0 win over Liberty in a nonleague game played at Liberty High School.
Price ran away with this week's honor, receiving 69.53% of the total vote. There were over 14,000 votes tallied!

The junior right-handed pitcher threw a five-inning shutout, giving up two hits while striking out six and walking one for the Mustangs in their 10-0 home win over Union.
Rochne Beecham, Wilsonville
The senior outfielder blasted two home runs for the Wildcats in their 15-5 nonleague win at Gresham. For the game, Beecham went 3 for 3 with four runs, three RBIs, a walk and a stolen base.
Nicholas Bornstedt, La Grande
The senior helped pitch and hit the Tigers to a 17-0 win over Astoria in a nonleague game played at Astoria. On the mound, Bornstedt threw four shutout innings, giving up two hits while striking out six and walking none. At the plate, he went 1 for 2 with two runs, an RBI and a stolen base.
Gabe Brabec, Ashland
The junior pitcher threw six shutout innings, giving up just three hits while striking out nine batters for the Grizzlies in their 10-0 win over North Bend in the first game of a Midwestern League doubleheader. Ashland also won the second game 12-2, with Brabec having four hits and three RBIs on the day.
Bobby Brands, Tigard
The junior belted what turned out to be the game-winning home run, coming in the top of the fourth inning, in the Tigers’ 2-1 nonleague victory at Silverton.
Koen Buck, Sheldon
The junior picked up two pitching wins for the Irish in a span of three days. First, he pitched an inning and a third in relief, giving up no runs while striking out one and walking one in a 6-5 come-from-behind win over Lincoln. Then, in a starting role, he gave up no earned runs on four hits, while striking out seven and walking one, in an 11-1 win over Forest Grove.
Cam Christenson, Sherwood
The senior, batting in the leadoff spot for the Bowmen, doubled, walked three times, stole four bases, scored three times and drove in four runs in Sherwood’s 13-6 win over South Salem in a nonleague game played at Gilmore Field in Salem. For the week, Christenson went 3 for 5 with two doubles, four RBIs, four walks, six stolen bases and six runs.
Wyatt Connally, Sprague
The junior pitcher/first baseman has been a tough out for the Olympians, going 6 for 8 at the plate last week in games with North Salem and Scappoose. For the season, Connally is 2-0 on the mound, with a 1.80 earned-run average. He also has a .444 batting average with four RBIs while drawing five walks.
Luke Cordy, Lincoln
The junior outfielder, batting in the leadoff spot for the Cardinals, walked twice, stole three bases, had a hit and scored three runs in the team’s 16-2 win over David Douglas in a nonleague game played at David Douglas High School.
Noah Dewey, Crescent Valley
The senior had a big day at the plate for the Raiders, going 3 for 4 with three doubles, three runs and an RBI in their 14-2 win over Nelson in a nonleague game played at Nelson High School.
Jaxon Dietrichs, Knappa
The sophomore right-handed pitcher threw a five-inning shutout, giving up two hits while striking out nine and walking one for the Loggers in their 10-0 victory at Portland Christian.
Hayden Eiguren, Beaverton
The senior went 2 for 3 with a double, a walk and a game-high four RBIs, helping the Beavers post a 12-7 win over Cleveland in a nonleague game played at Beaverton High School.
Michael Fitzgerald, Sunset
The junior left-handed pitcher threw five shutout innings, giving up three hits while striking out four batters, helping lead the Apollos to a 1-0 win over Tualatin in a nonleague game played at Sunset High School.
Conor Gallaway, Aloha
The junior outfielder hit a tiebreaking two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Warriors in their 7-5 win over Glencoe in a nonleague game played at Aloha High School. For the game, Gallaway went 3 for 4 with three RBIs.
Issac Garza, Siuslaw
The senior right-hander pitched five scoreless innings of relief, striking out seven, earning the win for the Vikings in a 9-2 nonleague victory over Coquille. Garza also went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, two runs, three RBIs and three stolen bases.
Austin Gottfried, North Eugene
The sophomore went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, helping the Highlanders earn a come-from-behind 9-7 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League opener.
River Hamilton, Barlow
The freshman pitcher threw a 64-pitch, five-inning no-hitter for the Bruins, striking out five and walking three in their 10-0 win over South Salem in a nonleague game played at Barlow High School. Hamilton also drove in three runs in the victory.
Jackson Jaha, Clackamas
The senior went 3 for 3 with three runs and two RBIs, helping power the Cavaliers to a 14-4 nonleague win over West Albany in a game played at Clackamas High School.
Garrett Johnson, Burns
The junior right-handed pitcher threw four shutout innings, giving up three hits while striking out six and walking one, in the Hilanders’ 10-0 nonleague victory at Ontario.
Jace Johnson, South Umpqua
The junior right-handed pitcher threw five shutout innings, giving up just one hit while striking out eight and walking one, for the Lancers in their 8-0 victory at Rainier.
Dane Lais, Oregon City
The junior right-handed pitcher threw a five-inning shutout, giving up just one hit while striking out eight and walking three, in the Pioneers’ 11-0 nonleague win over Hood River Valley in a game played at Oregon City High School. Lais also had a hit and drove in two runs in the victory.
Logan Larrance, Tualatin
The junior right-handed pitcher gave up just one run, on one hit, while striking out 10 and walking one in five innings for the Timberwolves in their 1-0 loss to Sunset in a nonleague game played at Sunset High School.
Alex Nisbet, Cleveland
The senior went 2 for 4 with a home run, two runs and four RBIs for the Warriors in their 12-7 loss to Beaverton in a nonleague game at Beaverton High School.
Canon Reeder, Summit
The senior, batting in the leadoff spot for the Storm, went 4 for 4 with a home run, two doubles, four runs and four RBIs in the team’s 21-1 win over South Eugene in a nonleague game played at Summit High School.
Hunter Schwenk, Henley
Schwenk threw a six-inning complete game, giving up one unearned run on four hits while striking out 10 and walking none for the Hornets in their 11-1 win over Douglas. Schwenk also hit a double and scored a run in the victory.
Blaeith Sharp-Salter, Roosevelt
The senior catcher had a huge week for the Roughriders, going 5 for 8 at the plate with three runs, three RBIs, three doubles and a home run in games with Ridgeview and Lebanon. Sharp-Salter’s home run was a two-run go-ahead fifth-inning blast in the team’s 4-3 win over Lebanon.
Grant Strother, Sprague
The junior catcher/pitcher is off to a strong start to the season for the Olympians. On the mound, Strother is 2-0 with an 0.54 earned-run average, while having 15 strikeouts with just two walks in 12 innings of work. At the plate, he is hitting for a team-best .650 average, with three doubles and a triple.
Joe VandenBrink, West Linn
The sophomore belted a couple of three-run home runs, driving in a total of six runs for the game, helping the Lions post a 12-0 nonleague win over Grant in a five-inning nonleague contest played at West Linn High School.
Brennan Wieg, Sherwood
The senior went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, a run and three RBIs for the Bowmen in their 13-6 win over South Salem in a nonleague game played at Gilmore Field. For the week, Wieg went 5 for 9 with a double, a home run, four RBIs and three stolen bases.
