Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Softball Player of the Week for April 11-17 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers. 

Read through the nominees and cast your vote. We’ll send a free SBLive T-shirt to the winner of the poll! Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday.

Payton Abiley, Sherwood

The sophomore shortstop had a big week at the plate for the Bowmen in victories over Aloha, West Linn and Glencoe, going 9 for 13 with three home runs, three doubles, nine runs and nine RBIs. 

Abigale Archuleta, Stayton

The sophomore hit two triples and drove in four runs, helping the Eagles edge Newport 16-15 in an Oregon West Conference game at Yaquina View Elementary School. 

Zulaykha Armstrachan, Roosevelt 

The freshman catcher stepped up for the Roughriders as they began Portland Interscholastic League play, going 6 for 8 with a home run, a double and eight RBIs.

Abby Blair, Liberty

The senior helped the Falcons pick up their first win of the season, going 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, three runs and an RBI in a 10-7 victory over Beaverton in a nonleague contest at Hillsboro Stadium. 

Avree Block, Elkton

The junior pitched a no-hitter, giving up one unearned run while striking out 18 and walking two in seven innings, helping the Elks earn a 9-1 win over Glendale in a Skyline League game at Elton. Block also had a hit and scored three runs in the victory. 

Elizabeth Brauckmiller, Franklin 

The junior had a huge day at the plate for the Lightning, going 4 for 4 with a home run, a triple, two doubles, three runs and five RBIs in the team’s 13-3 win over McDaniel in a Portland Interscholastic League game at Erv Lind Stadium. 

Payton Burnham, Sheldon

The sophomore went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, a run and three RBIs, helping the Irish post a 9-6 win over North Medford in a Southwest Conference game at the US Cellular Fields in Medford. Burnham also picked up the pitching win, striking out nine. 

Caelyn Davis, Mazama

The freshman had a huge day, both hitting and pitching, for the Vikings in their 20-2 win over North Valley in a five-inning Skyline Conference contest. At the plate, Davis was 5 for 5 with three doubles, three runs and two RBIs. In the circle, she gave up two runs on six hits, while striking out nine and walking three. 

Sierra Ferguson, Toledo

The junior went 4 for 4 with two stolen bases and two runs, helping the Boomers post a 5-3 win over Bandon in a Sunset Conference game at Toledo High School.

Lily Ferres, Roosevelt

The junior, with strong hitting and pitching, helped the Roughriders earn two wins in Portland Interscholastic League play. At the plate, Ferres went 6 for 7 with two doubles and six RBIs. In the circle, she struck out 15 batters, while giving up just one earned run, in 13 innings. 

Libbey Hardee, McMinnville

The junior went 2 for 3 with a home run, a run and three RBIs, helping the Grizzlies record a 4-3 win over Jesuit in a nonleague showdown at Jesuit High School. 

Olivia Davies, Sunset

The junior was 4 for 4 with two doubles, two runs and three RBIs, while also picking up the pitching win in relief for the Apollos in their 6-5 win over Glencoe in a nonleague game at Glencoe High School. 

Paige Doerr, Marist Catholic

The junior went 2 for 3 with a home run, a run and four RBIs, helping the Spartans run to a 17-0 win over Siuslaw in a Sky Em League game at Marist Catholic. Doerr followed by going 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, two runs and two RBIs in a 10-0 league win over Marshfield. 

Gracie Goewey, Bend

The junior helped power the unbeaten Lava Bears to a 16-0, three-inning win over Summit in a Mountain Valley Conference game at Bend High School. Goewey went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a stolen base, two runs and two RBIs. She also pitched a perfect inning, striking out two. 

Allie Grant, Gladstone

The senior went 5 for 6 with a double, five stolen bases, two runs and two RBIs, helping the Gladiators post a 21-18 win over Corbett in a wild Tri-Valley Conference game at Gladstone High School. 

Jenna Hopkins, Kennedy

The junior, with her pitching and hitting, helped lead the Trojans to a 7-1 win over Gervais in a Tri-River Conference game at Kennedy High School. Hopkins, in a complete-game pitching performance, didn’t allow an earned run. She scattered six hits while striking out nine and walking one. At the plate, she went 1 for 2 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs. 

Ally Hyde, Central Catholic

The senior pitched a no-hitter, helping lead the Rams to a 10-0 win over Nelson in a five-inning Mt. Hood Conference game at Nelson High School. In five innings, Hyde struck out 11 and walked two. 

Noel Julison, Nelson

The senior, with her hitting and pitching, helped lead the Hawks to an 11-1 win over Clackamas in a five-inning Mt. Hood Conference game at Nelson High School. At the plate, Julison went 2 for 3 with three RBIs. In the circle, she gave up one run on four hits while striking out four and walking none. 

Alyssa Knox, Santiam Christian

The junior went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs, helping the Eagles hold off Harrisburg for a 6-4 win in a Mountain Valley Conference game at Harrisburg High School. 

Abigail Loomis, Canby

The senior allowed one unearned run on three hits, while striking out 13 and walking none, helping the Cougars notch a 3-1 win over Tualatin in a Three Rivers League opener at Canby High School. 

Avery Pounder, Bandon

The senior had another big game for the Tigers, helping them run to a 13-0, five-inning win over Myrtle Point in a Sunset Conference game at Bandon. At the plate, Pounder went 2 for 4 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBIs. She also had a shutout pitching performance, allowing one hit while striking out 11 and walking one. 

Natalie Rabe, Liberty

The freshman went 4 for 4 with a home run, a stolen base, two runs and two RBIs, helping the Falcons earn a 10-7 win over Beaverton in a nonleague game at Hillsboro Stadium. 

Makenna Reid, Tigard

The senior left-handed pitcher struck out 19 batters as she spun a two-hit shutout for the Tigers in their 3-0 win over Jesuit in a nonleague showdown at Jesuit High School. 

Evy Reminington, Philomath 

The freshman struck out 18 batters, while giving up just one earned run, allowing one hit and walking five, for the Warriors in their 7-4 win over Newport in an Oregon West Conference contest. At the plate, Remington went 2 for 3 with a double. 

Mia Reynon, North Bend

The sophomore went 2 for 3 with a home run, two runs and six RBIs, helping the Bulldogs get an 11-8 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League game at North Eugene High School. 

Lily Riley, Oregon City

The sophomore pitcher limited Tigard to one run on two hits while striking out 12 in 10 innings in the Pioneers’ 1-0 loss to the Tigers in a Three Rivers League opener at Tigard High School. 

Miranda Scovil, Santiam Christian

The sophomore went 5 for 5 with two doubles, a run and four RBIs, helping the Eagles edge Harrisburg 9-8 in a Mountain Valley Conference game at Scio High School. 

Jessica Rule, Stayton

The junior had a huge performance, both pitching and hitting, as she powered the Eagles to a 16-0, four-inning win over Sisters in an Oregon West Conference game at Stayton High School. At the plate, Rule went 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, three runs and three RBIs. In the circle, she gave up just one hit, while striking out eight and walking one. 

Paley Sullivan, Tualatin

The freshman went 4 for 5 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBIs, helping the Timberwolves post a 12-7 win over Sunset in a nonleague game at Sunset High School. 

Peyton Foreman, Central

The senior catcher went 4-for-4 at the plate with two singles, a double, three RBIs, and a home run in a 13-3 win against North Salem.
