Canby RHP/INF Clayton Langdale voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Player of the Week
Congratulations to Canby RHP/INF Clayton Langdale for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Player of the Week for April 11-17!
The senior gave the Cougars all the offense they needed, belting a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning of Canby’s 2-1 win over West Linn in a Three Rivers League game at Canby High School.
Langdale received 46.43% of the vote, beating out Tigard's Charlie Peters who finished second with 27.21%. Nelson's Justin Redman finished third with 6.58% and Silverton's Carson Waples finished fourth with 5.73%. There were over 25,000 votes tallied this week!

The senior went 2 for 3 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs, helping the Wildcats post a 6-3 win over Beaverton in a Metro League game at Sunset High School.
Hunter Barber, Amity
The senior went 3 for 4 with a double, two stolen bases, four runs and three RBIs, helping the Warriors notch a 19-1 win over Westside Christian in a PacWest Conference game at Westlake Park.
Max Bledy, Wilsonville
The senior was 3 for 3 with a triple, a walk, three stolen bases, three runs and three RBIs, helping the Wildcats run to a 12-1 win over St. Helens in Northwest Oregon Conference play.
Niko Boudreau, Astoria
The junior, with his pitching and hitting, helped lead the Fishermen to a 5-1 win over Seaside in a Cowapa League game at Astoria. In a complete-game performance on the mound, Boudreau gave up one unearned run on six hits, striking out eight and walking none. At the plate, he went 1 for 3 with two runs and an RBI.
Peter Coakley, Sunset
The senior right-hander pitched seven shutout innings, giving up three hits while striking out three and walking two, helping the Apollos earn a 1-0, eight-inning win over Mountainside in a Metro League game at Sunset High School.
