Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Player of the Week for April 25-May 1 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Marcus Allen, West Albany

The junior, with a strong performance both hitting and pitching, powered the Bulldogs to a 21-0, five-inning win over North Salem in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at North Salem. On the mound, Allen tossed a no-hitter, striking out four and walking none in five innings. At the plate, he went 1 for 1 with a double, two walks, two stolen bases, two runs and an RBI. 

Isaac Anthony, Dufur/South Wasco County 

The senior pitched a complete-game shutout, helping the Rangers post a 5-0 home win over Heppner/Ione in a Special District 7 game. In his seven innings of work, Anthony gave up two hits while striking out 14 and walking none. He also had a double, a run scored and an RBI in the victory. 

Brody Ballard, Monroe

The senior went 3 for 5 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs, helping lead the Dragons to a 9-4 win over Regis in a Special District 3 showdown at Monroe High School. 

Nathan Baker, Mazama

The junior spun a complete-game shutout, giving up two hits while striking out 11 and walking two, leading the Vikings to a 5-0 win over Phoenix in a Skyline Conference game at Phoenix High School.

Gabe Brabec, Ashland

The junior threw a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits while striking out 10, helping the Grizzlies earn a 6-0 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League game at Churchill High School. 

Joe Brauckmiller, Canby

The senior right-hander pitched a complete-game one-hitter, leading the Cougars to a 1-0 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League contest at Canby High School. Brauckmiller struck out seven and walked two. 

Kaden Bruns, Newport

The senior, with some strong pitching and hitting, helped lead the Cubs to a 7-0 win over Cascade in an Oregon West Conference game at Newport High School. On the mound, Bruns gave up no runs on three hits while striking out 10 and walking none in six innings of work. At the plate, he went 2 for 2 with two doubles, three stolen bases, a walk and three runs. 

Roanan Cason, Westview

The sophomore doubled in the winning run in the top of the 13th inning for the Wildcats in their 4-3 victory over Sunset in a Metro League game at Sunset High School. Cason went 2 for 6 with two doubles, a run scored and two RBIs. He also drove in two runs in a 15-9 victory against the Apollos. 

Ryan Clarke, Beaverton

The junior belted two home runs, helping the Beavers edge Southridge 6-5 in a Metro League contest at Southridge High School. Clarke went 2 for 3 with two runs and three RBIs. 

Evan Corbin, Roseburg

The junior threw a complete-game shutout, helping his team edge South Eugene 1-0 in a Southwest Conference game at Legion Field. Corbin gave up four hits while striking out seven and walking one. 

Vandon Fessler, Silverton

The senior went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a stolen base, two runs and an RBI, helping power the Foxes to a 12-2 win over South Albany in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at Silverton High School. 

Nick Frith, Stayton

The senior threw a complete-game shutout, giving up two hits while striking out 14 and walking two, leading the Eagles to an 8-0 win over Sweet Home in an Oregon West Conference game at Sweet Home High School.

Dawson Gillespie, Roseburg

The senior scored the walk-off run in the seventh inning, giving Roseburg a 6-5 win over Sheldon in a Southwest Conference contest at Legion Field. Gillespie went 3 for 4 with three doubles, a run and two RBIs. 

Hayden George, Lebanon

The sophomore outfielder/third baseman had a big week at the plate. In four games, he went 8 for 13 with three doubles, two walks, five runs, six RBIs and an OPS of 1.513. 

Nick Gribble, Sherwood

The junior went 3 for 3 with a triple, two stolen bases and two runs, helping the Bowmen earn a 3-2 win over Newberg in a Pacific Conference game at Sherwood High School. Gribble also scored twice, drove in two runs and stole a base in a 14-0 victory over Newberg.

Levi Jones, Jesuit

The junior belted two solo home runs, two of four the Crusaders hit on the day, in a 12-1 win over Aloha in a Metro League game at Aloha High School. 

Taylor Langworthy, Sheldon

The senior threw a no-hitter for the Irish, leading them to a 13-0, five-inning win over Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference contest. Langworthy struck out seven and walked two, getting through his five innings with 74 pitches. The no-hitter was part of a big week for Langworthy. On the mound for the week, he went 2-0 with two complete-game performances. At the plate, he went 4 for 10 with three home runs, two doubles, three walks, seven runs and eight RBIs. 

Caleb Malloy, Newport

The junior went 3 for 3 with a home run, three runs and four RBIs, helping the Cubs earn a 13-1 win over Cascade in an Oregon West Conference game at Newport High School. 

Gage Martinez, Coquille

The freshman pitched a no-hitter for the Red Devils in their 10-0, five-inning win over Waldport in a Special District 5 contest at Coquille. Martinez struck out 14 and walked one. 

Parker McKibbin, Tillamook

The junior hit and pitched the Cheesemakers to a 10-0, six-inning win over Astoria in a Cowapa League game at Tillamook High School. On the mound, McKibbin threw six innings of shutout ball, giving up two hits while striking out 10 and walking none. At the plate, he went 2 for 4 with a stolen base, two runs and an RBI. 

Jackson McLoughlin, Westview

The senior, with strong hitting and pitching, helped power the Wildcats to a 10-0, six-inning win over Sunset in a Metro League game at Sunset High School. At the plate, McLoughlin went 3 for 4 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs. On the mound, he gave up no runs on two hits while striking out four and walking two.

Noble Meyer, Jesuit

The junior belted two home runs, going 2 for 2 with two runs and three RBIs, powering the Crusaders to an 8-1 win over Aloha in a Metro League game at Jesuit High School. 

Drew Miller, Knappa

The senior threw a no-hitter, helping the Loggers post an 11-0, six-inning road win over St. Paul in a Special District 1 contest. Miller struck out nine batters while walking just one. He went 2 for 4 at the plate with two stolen bases, a run and an RBI. 

Aidan O’Brien, La Salle Prep 

The senior went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs for the Falcons in their 7-6 win over Putnam in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Putnam High School. O’Brien also picked up the pitching win, giving up four runs (one earned) on six hits while striking out seven and walking two in five and two-thirds innings.

Ryan Prescott, Willamette

The junior left-hander threw a complete-game no-hitter, striking out 11, in leading the Wolverines to a 10-2 win over Eagle Point in a Midwestern League game at Eagle Point.

Tyler Rock, West Salem

The junior went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, helping the Titans notch an 8-3 win over McNary in a Mountain Valley Conference game at McNary High School. 

Niko Rosell, Century

The senior, in a three-game stretch for the Jaguars, went 6 for 10 with six runs, four RBIs, two stolen bases and an OPS of 1.383. 

Vincent Salvione, Putnam

The senior went 2 for 5 with a home run, two runs and four RBIs, helping lead the Kingsmen to an 11-1 win over La Salle Prep in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at La Salle Prep. Salvione followed by pitching a complete-game shutout for the Kingsmen in a 3-0 win over La Salle Prep. He allowed two hits while striking out 10 and walking three. 

Sam Schindler, Blanchet Catholic

The senior went 3 for 4 with a double, five stolen bases, a walk, four runs and two RBIs, helping the Cavaliers get a 16-2 win over Amity in a Special District 3 game at Amity High School. 

Hunter Schwenk, Henley

The junior went 5 for 5 with a double, a triple and four RBIs, helping power the Hornets to a 15-3 win over North Valley in a Skyline Conference game at Grants Pass Sports Park. 

Mason Spellecy, Hood River Valley

The senior, with his hitting and pitching, helped power the Eagles to a 12-0, five-inning win over Crook County in an Intermountain Conference game at Crook County. At the plate, Spellecy went 3 for 3 with a double, a stolen base, a walk, four runs and two RBIs. He also pitched four innings of no-hit ball, striking out six and walking none.
