Mikey is a three-time varsity letterman in football and baseball, and a two-time varsity letterman in basketball at Canby High School. Mikey was rated one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Oregon by Prep Redzone and 247Sports for the 2022 year. He held a 4.0 GPA along with earning All-Conference and All-State honors throughout his career. As a team captain, he helped lead Canby to an eight-win season, advancing to the state quarterfinals. Mikey is a member of the National Honor Society and is a student leader with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is an NFF Oregon Scholar Athlete. He will be attending Western Oregon University in the fall where he will study business and play football for the Wolves.
