Joe helped lead Summit to its first 6A playoff victories in school history on the way to a 9-3 record. He was named 1st team All-Conference at defensive back and 2nd team All-Conference as a wide receiver. Joe also plays baseball and is a starter on varsity, playing catcher. He is proud of the fact that he played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., in 2016, a memory he will carry forever. Joe holds a 3.7 GPA and has been accepted to 10 universities. At the time of this writing, he had not decided which to attend. When not on the field or making sandwiches at Jersey Mike’s, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, leading the Summit Student Section at Summit for basketball, skiing and weight training. This year, Joe participated in the Sparrow Club fundraiser for children in need (Summit Thunder Pageant), where he and his partner tied for 1st place, and as a group, they raised more than $55,000 for Sparrow “Ryder”. Joe is planning on attending college in the fall, where he’s looking to lead and excel on and off the field.
