In his junior campaign and first year on varsity, Oliver was named to the Pacific Conference 1st team defense and 2nd team offense. Additionally, he was named 2nd team All-State defense by Prep Redzone. Oliver is no stranger to adversity. He was born with spinal meningitis and after fighting for his life for nearly a week in neonatal intensive care, he made a full recovery. With humble beginnings, he has no problem being the underdog and competing to the end. The 2021 football season began with a very young Sherwood team. After starting the football season 0-4, Oliver anchored the strong side of the defense and contributed to an offense that won seven in a row and advanced to the 6A quarterfinals. In the playoffs, Oliver registered four sacks, three tackles for loss and a forced fumble. On the offensive side of the ball, Oliver was a very strong blocker and registered 39 yards receiving and one touchdown in the playoffs. Off the field, he plays basketball and is looking forward to playing his senior year with Sherwood's basketball team. Oliver holds scholarship offers from Eastern Washington University, Portland State University and University of Idaho.
