Meet the players for the 2022 Les Schwab Bowl: Jace Eveland (Team Willamette)

Jace started on varsity at offensive tackle as a freshman at Rex Putnam High School.

The 2022 Les Schwab Bowl, a high school football all-star game featuring many of the Northwest’s top players, will take place Saturday, July 2, at Linfield University in McMinnville. Get your tickets here

Jace is a rising sophomore at Rex Putnam High School. He started on varsity at offensive tackle as a freshman and played every snap throughout the season. He earned 1st team All-Conference honors as a freshman and was one vote short of being the lineman of the year for the 5A Northwest Oregon Conference as a 14-year-old freshman. Jace was voted lineman of the year for Rex Putnam. During his freshman season, he allowed zero sacks, zero hurries and zero tackles for loss. He had 60+ pancakes and took more than 100 defenders to the ground in nine varsity games. Jace is currently playing for Ford Sports Performance in Bellevue, Washington. In the first game, Jace played more than half the game against Texas PPT Elite, giving up zero sacks and zero tackles for loss against top nationally ranked defensive linemen in a 63-0 win. He is one of three freshmen on an active roster that combined has more than 600 Power 5 full-ride scholarship offers. Jace has received interest from most Pac-12 schools along with other Power 5 schools. He has made unofficial visits to the University of Oregon, University of Washington and Oregon State University with others to come this summer. He has a 4.0 GPA, is in advanced classes and is on track to complete calculus by his junior year.
