College: Utah State University
Samuel lettered in football and track and field three out of his four years at Silverton High School. His team won the 5A state championship in football, and he earned 1st team All-State offensive lineman and 2nd team All-State defensive lineman. In track, he set the freshman, junior and senior class records in the discus and holds the school record. Samuel has excelled in the classroom, carrying a 3.9 GPA. He was the salutatorian for his class. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and fly fishing. In the fall, he will attend Utah State University.
