Hayden is a two-time varsity letterman in football and baseball at Lebanon High School. He was named 1st team All-Conference as an outfielder and 2nd team All-State as a sophomore in baseball. He helped his baseball team take second in state at the 5A state championship game this year. In the weight room, Hayden prides himself on his current squat weight of 410 pounds and bench of 225 pounds. He recently ran a 40 in 4.69 seconds. Inside the classroom, Hayden carries a 3.8 GPA. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, camping, fishing, traveling and sleeping. Hayden overcame a major obstacle in his sports career early in his sophomore year, when he had his first sports injury. The summer after freshman year, surgery was needed to repair a crack in the elbow that forced Hayden to let go of being a quarterback and kept him out of most of his sophomore season of football. He overcame that obstacle and tried a new position for the first time when he was able to come back (tight end) and realized he could also be successful in another position. Outside of playing football and baseball, Hayden enjoys helping out at local sports camps, as well as teaching his younger brothers all his knowledge of baseball and football. Hayden looks forward to his final two years of high school as he continues to prepare for a future in college football.
