Grant High School of Northeast Portland has announced the hiring of Dondrale Campbell as its boys basketball coach.

Campbell last season led Cleveland to its first league title in 60 years and a berth in the Class 6A state tournament. He’s a two-time PIL coach of the year.

With the Generals, Campbell will succeed Robert Key, who left after eight seasons to take the head coaching position at West Linn
