The Panthers were without five starters for the game between undefeated conference leaders.

Nick Klemm and Luke Leighton made interceptions in the first quarter and Brock Thomas factored in six touchdowns for the host Irish, who handled the short-handed Panthers (5-1, 3-1 Central/Southwest Valley Conference) in Eugene.

Mana Tuioti also had an interception and had two tackles for loss for the Irish (6-0, 4-0), who got three tackles for loss from Teitum Tuioti and two from Josh Merriman.

The Panthers were without five starters for the game between undefeated conference leaders.

Thomas passed for four touchdowns and ran for two. It was his fourth consecutive game with at least four touchdown passes.
