Lake Oswego 35, No. 4 Tualatin 31

Calvin Macy scored on a swing pass from Liam Davis with 41.9 seconds left, and the host Lakers (5-2, 2-1 Three Rivers League) downed the Timberwolves in a game featuring four lead changes in the final quarter.

The Timberwolves (5-2, 1-2) had taken a 31-28 lead with less than three minutes to play on a nine-yard run by quarterback Jack Wagner. The Lakers, when they regained possession, converted a fourth-down play and got four catches from Matt Layne on the way to the decisive touchdown.

Layne caught a touchdown pass from Davis to push the Lakers ahead 28-24 with 7:20 left, about three minutes after the Timberwolves converted a Lakers turnover into a touchdown — AJ Noland running from 15 yards — and a 24-21 lead.

Two touchdown passes from Davis to Owen West helped the Lakers take a 14-13 lead to halftime after the Timberwolves went ahead 13-0 on a touchdown pass from Wagner to Noland and a two-yard run by Luke Ash.

The Timberwolves amassed 268 yards rushing, and Wagner (one touchdown pass, one interception) threw for 229 yards. Jayden Fortier made eight catches for 89 yards.
