Jackson Leach of West Salem voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Leach received 51.59% of the vote, beating out South Eugene’s Landyn Bryant, who finished second with 40.53%.

Congratulations to West Salem’s Jackson Leach for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 23-29. 

Leach, a junior point guard on the West Salem team, recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the Titans in their 79-55 win at North Salem in a Central Valley Conference game. He then had 18 points and nine assists in a 75-66 home victory over South Salem. 

Leach received 51.59% of the vote, beating out Landyn Bryant, a junior on the South Eugene team, who finished second with 40.53%. Ethan Sims, a senior on the North Eugene team, was third with 7.34% and Sawyer Clemett, a junior on the Hood River Valley team, was fourth with 0.25%. There were more than 20,000 votes tallied this week.
