Maeani Dotts of North Eugene voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week

Dotts received 55.50% of the vote, beating out McNary’s KJ Custer, who finished second with 31.12%.

Congratulations to North Eugene’s Maeani Dotts for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 5. 

Dotts, a junior guard on the North Eugene team, had a solid all-around game for the Highlanders with 12 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists in a 42-36 win over Eagle Point in a Midwestern League game at Eagle Point High School. 

Dotts received 55.50% of the vote, beating out KJ Custer, a senior on the McNary team, who finished second with 31.12%. Audrey Counts, a sophomore on the Wilsonville team, was third with 7.76% and Danaeja Romero-Ah Sam, a junior on the Springfield team, was fourth with 3.98%. There were more than 15,000 votes tallied this week.
