Eastside Catholic star Jacob Cofie on Oregon Ducks official visit: 'The coaches were real with me'
In late January, Jacob Cofie received an offer from Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks.
And it didn't take him long to visit Eugene.
The Eastside Catholic (Washington) star took his official visit to Oregon this past weekend. According to Cofie, the visit went really well.
"What stood out to me was how real the coaches were to me and the life advice they gave to me, how nice the facilities are, and the how nice the people are," Cofie told SBLive Sports.
Cofie is currently ranked as the nation's No. 93 prospect, No. 18 power forward and Washington's No. 2 prospect in the class of 2024, according to On3.
He currently holds offers from Oregon, Colorado, Ohio State, Washington, UCLA, Washington State and others. He has also taken an official visit to Washington.

The Oregon men's basketball team hasn't solidified any 2024 commitments yet, but they do have a loaded 2023 recruiting class that consists of Kwame Evans Jr, Mookie Cook and Jackson Shelstad.
