Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 20-26 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Jessley Bukeyeneza, Century

The sophomore guard had 17 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Jaguars in their 56-55 win over Newberg in a Pacific Conference game at Newberg High School.

Pearson Carmichael, Summit

The junior had another double-double for the Storm, this time with 29 points and 12 rebounds in a 65-56 victory against Bend in an Intermountain Conference game at Bend High School.

Winters Grady, Lake Oswego

The sophomore wing tallied 37 points on a 13-of-19 shooting night from the field while also having five rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist for the Lakers in their 80-58 win over rival Lakeridge in a Three Rivers League finale at Lake Oswego High School. With the 37 points, Grady went over the 1,000-point milestone for his high school career.

Noah Friesen, St. Mary’s (Medford)

The senior guard scored a game-high 26 points, including 10 in the first quarter, in leading the Crusaders to a 54-46 victory at Vale in a Class 3A first-round state playoff game.

Connor Gensman, Canby

The senior wing scored a game-high 23 points, going 10 of 11 from the free throw line, while also having six rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Cougars in their 67-60 victory at Putnam in a Northwest Oregon Conference game.

Ray Gerrard, North Douglas

The senior post tallied a game-high 25 points to pace the Warriors in their 64-28 home victory over Ione/Arlington in a Class 1A state playoff first-round contest. He scored 26 points in a 54-48 win against Lost River in a second-round playoff game.

Christian Green, Grant

The senior wing poured in 34 points for the Generals in their 74-58 win over Benson in a Portland Interscholastic League finale at Grant High School.

Cole Hammack, North Marion

The sophomore guard totaled a game-high 29 points to help lead the Huskies to an 87-55 win over Cottage Grove in a Class 4A state play-in game at North Marion High School.

Colton Hibbs, Alsea

The senior wing sank five 3-point baskets and scored a game-high 22 points for the Wolverines in their 50-47 home win over Elkton in a Class 1A state playoff first-round game.

Boden Howell, South Medford

The junior wing scored a game-high 27 points, including 23 in the second half, in leading the Panthers to a 66-55 win over rival North Medford in a Southwest Conference game at South Medford High School. He had a triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in a 113-70 win over South Eugene.

Bugsy Jensen, Churchill

The senior poured in 31 points, sinking seven 3-pointers in the process, while also having six assists and three rebounds for the Lancers in their 90-82 win over North Eugene in a Midwestern League showdown at Churchill High School. Jensen scored 23 of the team’s 35 points in the second quarter, connecting on six 3-pointers in the period.

Jonah Jones, Westside Christian

The senior forward had 13 points, nine rebounds, four steals and two blocks for the Eagles in their 62-43 win over Sisters in a Class 3A state playoff second-round game at Westside Christian High School.

James Kefgen, Liberty

The sophomore wing had 24 points, nine rebounds and three steals for the Falcons in their 71-50 win over Forest Grove in a Pacific Conference game at Liberty High School.

Tyler King, Clackamas

The senior post tallied a game-high 27 points to pace the Cavaliers in their 61-52 win over Sandy in a Mt. Hood Conference game at Clackamas High School.

Landon Knox, Cascade

The sophomore guard posted a game-high 23 points for the Cougars in their 64-61 win over Philomath in an Oregon West Conference showdown at Philomath High School.

Josiah Lake, Tualatin

The senior guard tallied a team-high 30 points for the Timberwolves in an 89-78 loss to West Linn in a Three Rivers League showdown at Tualatin High School. He scored 30 points again, this time in a 92-71 win over rival Tigard.

Logan Law, Milwaukie

The senior guard had a near quadruple-double for the Mustangs with 21 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and eight steals in their 93-29 win over Hillsboro in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Milwaukie High School.

Tee Ledbetter, Union

The junior forward/guard tallied a game-high 37 points for the Bobcats in their 83-65 victory at South Wasco County in a Class 1A second-round state playoff contest.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The junior center had 26 points, seven rebounds and 10 blocks in helping lead the Challengers to an 85-36 win over Amity in a Class 3A state playoff second-round game at Cascade Christian.

India Mohiuddin, Sheldon

The junior wing connected on three 3-pointers on his way to scoring a game-high 21 points for the Irish in a 65-53 win over Roseburg in a Southwest Conference finale at Sheldon High School.

Chase Nelson, Central

The senior had 33 points, 15 rebounds and four assists for the Panthers in their 69-60 win over McKay in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at Central High School. He had 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 58-52 win over Dallas.

Elliot Nofziger, East Linn Christian Academy

The junior post recorded a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles in their 51-47 overtime home victory against Willamina in a Class 2A state playoff first-round game.

Jackson Oglesby, Salem Academy

The senior forward had 17 points, nine rebounds and two blocks for the Crusaders in a 52-31 win over Central Linn in a Class 2A state playoff first-round game at Salem Academy.

Ian Ongers, South Wasco County

The senior forward poured in a game-high 32 points to lead the Redsides to a 58-54 home win over Days Creek in a Class 1A first-round state playoff tilt.

Jaylin Ormond, Mountainside

The senior post turned in a double-double for the Mavericks with 21 points and 11 rebounds in their 71-50 win over Westview in a Metro League finale at Mountainside High School.

Coven Rotter, Dallas

The junior guard/wing had 21 points and seven rebounds for the Dragons in their 58-52 loss to Central in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at Dallas High School.

Malachi Seely-Roberts, Lincoln

The senior had a strong all-around performance with 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Cardinals in their 90-81 Portland Interscholastic League title-clinching win at Benson.

Cameron Sewell, South Medford

The senior guard sank eight 3-pointers on his way to tallying 33 points for the Panthers in their school-record 113-70 win over South Eugene in a Southwest Conference finale at South Medford High School.

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The senior guard scored a game-high 31 points while also having five assists for the Lions in their 89-78 Three Rivers League title-clinching win at Tualatin.

Matthew Verkamp, Sherwood

The senior wing/guard recorded a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds for the Bowmen in their 67-64 win over Century in a Pacific Conference game at Sherwood High School.

Jackson Weiland, South Medford

The junior guard had 23 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds for the Panthers in their 113-70 victory over South Eugene in a Southwest Conference finale at South Medford High School.
