Payton Lambert of Pendleton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Athlete of the Week

Lambert received 63.96% of the vote, beating out Oakland’s Cole Collins, who finished second with 26.06%.

Congratulations to Pendleton’s Payton Lambert for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Baseball Player of the Week for the week of May 1-7. 

Lambert, a senior shortstop on the Pendleton team, hit a home run, doubled, scored twice and drove in three runs for the Buckaroos in their 5-0 home win over Baker in a Greater Oregon League contest.

Lambert received 63.96% of the vote, beating out Cole Collins, a senior on the Oakland team, who finished second with 26.06%. Max Eaton, a senior on the Regis team, was third with 7.14% and Nathan Baker, a senior on the Mazama team, was fourth with 0.72%. There were more than 14,000 votes tallied this week.
