Logan Kind of Banks voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Athlete of the Week

Kind received 84.27% of the vote, beating out Sprague’s Avery Wilson, who finished second with 7.12%.

Congratulations to Banks’ Logan Kind for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Baseball Player of the Week for the week of May 8-14. 

Kind, a senior on the Banks team, had a huge all-around performance to help lead Banks to a 9-0 win at Neah-Kah-Nie in a Special District 1 showdown. He pitched six shutout innings in the victory, allowing just two hits while striking out 13 and walking two. At the plate, he hit a home run, scored three runs and drove in two. 

Kind received 84.27% of the vote, beating out Avery Wilson, a junior on the Sprague team, who finished second with 7.12%. Nick Gribble, a senior on the Sherwood team, was third with 0.99% and Ty Alleman, a senior on the Jesuit team, was fourth with 0.83%.
