Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Player of the Week for May 15-21 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Hunter Allen, Pleasant Hill

The junior catcher went 3 for 3 with a home run, two doubles and three RBIs to power the Billies to a 15-2 win over Creswell in a Mountain Valley Conference game at Pleasant Hill High School.

Evan Bliss, West Albany

The senior right-hander threw a five-inning perfect game, striking out 14 of the 15 batters he faced, in leading the way for the Bulldogs in their 10-0 victory against McKay in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at West Albany High School.

Brady Bloss, Lincoln

The senior went 4 for 5 with a double, three runs and an RBI for the Cardinals in their 15-3 victory at Franklin in a Portland Interscholastic League contest.

Dru Boyle, Madras

The senior stepped up in a big way to help lead the White Buffaloes to an 11-2 win at Baker in a Class 4A play-in tilt. Boyle pitched six shutout innings, allowing four hits while striking out nine and walking none. He went 2 for 4 with a triple and two runs.

Kyle Burger, Brookings-Harbor

The senior spun a complete-game shutout, allowing three hits while striking 15 and walking none for the Bruins in their 2-0 home win over Coquille in a Far West League game at Coquille.

Carlo Cervantes, Central

The senior shortstop went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, two stolen bases, two runs and three RBIs for the Panthers in their 12-2 home win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference contest.

Ben Christensen, Grant

The senior hit a two-run walk-off home run in the ninth inning to give the Generals a 4-2 win over Century in a nonleague contest at Grant High School.

Conner Clift, Junction City

The freshman went 3 for 4 with a home run, two doubles, two runs and three RBIs to help power the Tigers to an 11-8 home win over Tillamook in a Class 4A play-in contest.

Eli Crist, Thurston

The junior third baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, three runs and two RBIs for the Colts in their 16-0 victory against Springfield in a Midwestern League tilt at Thurston High School.

Markus Everitt, Newport

The senior played a key role for the Cubs in their 6-3 home win over Marshfield in a Class 4A play-in game. He turned in a complete-game pitching performance, giving up three unearned runs on six hits while striking out seven and walking one. At the plate, he went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, three runs and two RBIs.

Kaden Harris, Milwaukie

The senior threw a complete-game shutout for the Mustangs, allowing one hit while striking out 10 and walking none in their 1-0 home win over Hillsboro in a Northwest Oregon Conference contest.

Wyatt Hesselman, Banks

The junior shortstop was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, three runs and three RBIs in a 13-3 home win over St. Paul in a nonleague contest.

Erik Hoffberg, Lakeridge

The senior right-hander threw a one-hit shutout, striking out 11 and walking one to help the Pacers post a 3-0 win over rival Lake Oswego in a Three Rivers League finale at Lakeridge High School.

Brock Johnson, North Eugene

The freshman shortstop went 3 for 3 with three stolen bases, three runs and three RBIs to help lead the Highlanders to a 14-4 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League game at North Eugene High School.

Cody Leming, Stayton

The senior threw a five-inning shutout, allowing one hit while striking out nine and walking one for the Eagles in their 11-0 win over Phoenix in a Class 4A play-in game at Stayton High School. He had a triple, scored a run and drove in two in the victory.

Boyd Messman, South Salem

The sophomore went 3 for 5 with a double, a run and five RBIs to help the Saxons post a 13-11 home win over Central in a nonleague contest.

Noble Meyer, Jesuit

The senior turned in another huge performance for the Crusaders, leading them to a 6-0 win over Grant in a nonleague game at Jesuit High School. At the plate, he belted two home runs and drove in three runs. On the mound, he threw three shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out seven and walking one.

Maddox Montoya, Sunset

The junior smacked two home runs and had five RBIs for the Apollos in their 12-0 victory at Aloha in a Metro League contest.

Bryson Nygren, Regis

The sophomore right-hander threw a complete-game one-hit shutout, striking out 11 and walking three for the Rams in their 10-0 home victory over Monroe in a Special District 3 game.

Gunnar Pedersen, Westview

The junior had two hits, including a triple, walked twice, stole three bases, scored four times and drove in a run for the Wildcats in their 9-6 victory at Beaverton in a Metro League contest.

Alec Prevett, Amity

The senior was 4 for 4 with a double, a run and five RBIs to pace the Warriors in their 13-3 home win over Scio in a Special District 3 playoff tilt.

Eli Rolfe, McMinnville

The junior shortstop went 3 for 4 with two triples, a stolen base, three runs and four RBIs to help the Grizzlies run to a 14-2 win over Forest Grove in a Pacific Conference finale at Patton Middle School.

Mitchell Rowe, West Linn

The junior catcher went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, two runs and five RBIs for the Lions in their 22-5 victory over Oregon City in a Three Rivers League game at West Linn High School.

Grady Saunders, Thurston

The freshman threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine and walking none in the Colts’ 16-0 home win over Springfield in a Midwestern League game. He went 2 for 4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI in the victory.

Sol Scharp Salter, Roosevelt

The senior right-hander recorded a one-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking none in helping the Roughriders edge Cleveland 1-0 in a Portland Interscholastic League game at Powell Park.

Noah Scharer, South Salem

The sophomore, batting in the leadoff spot, went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, two runs and four RBIs for the Saxons in their 19-4 win at South Eugene in a nonleague tilt.

Griffin Scott, Wells

The junior left-hander spun a one-hit shutout, striking out 16 and walking three for the Guardians in their 11-0 win over McDaniel in a Portland Interscholastic League game at Walker Stadium. He had two hits, scored a run and drove in a run in the victory.

Camren Stortro, Glencoe

The senior went 2 for 4 with a home run, two runs and four RBIs to help lead the Crimson Tide to an 11-3 triumph at Newberg in a Pacific Conference tilt.

Grant Strother, Sprague

The senior had a strong all-around performance for the Olympians in their 7-0 win over Canby in a nonleague game at Sprague High School. On the mound, he threw six shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out 11 and walking two. At the plate, he went 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Marcos Ulloa-Ford, Mazama

The junior went 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs for the Vikings in their 8-4 home win over La Pine in a nonleague contest.

Ezra Vice, Westview

The junior outfielder tripled twice, walked twice, scored three times and drove in four runs for the Wildcats in their 10-0 win over Beaverton in a Metro League game at Westview High School.

Austin Wolfe, Mountainside

The senior had a strong all-around performance for the Mavericks in their 4-0 win over Southridge in a Metro League finale at Mountainside High School. On the mound, he threw a five-hit shutout, striking out six and walking one. At the plate, he hit two doubles and scored a run.
