The Oregon high school football season is scheduled to begin Thursday, Aug. 31 — 88 days from today. As we count down the days until kickoff, SBLive Oregon will give you one significant number per day.

88

Nonleague wins by the Three Rivers League in the five full seasons dating to 2017, the most by any Class 6A, 5A or 4A league.

Three Rivers teams have an 88-27 (.765) nonleague record in that time. The Mt. Hood Conference (61-59, .508) has the second-most wins.

The Southwest Conference — the Class 6A circuit extending from Eugene south and east that lasted from 2014 to 2021 — is the only other Class 6A conference with a winning nonleague record in this span (52-42, .553).

For purposes of this statistic, games classified by the OSAA as league playoffs are not considered nonleague games.
