Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for Feb. 19-25 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Burns wrestling

The Hilanders claimed second place at the Class 3A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Burns took the runner-up spot with 155 points. Harrisburg won the gold with 285. The Hilanders had three individual state champions in Kale Cornell (126 pounds), Cannon Kemper (150) and Easton Kemper (175).

Corbett girls basketball

The Cardinals stayed perfect, moving to 24-0 by recording a 72-44 win over Burns in a Class 3A state playoff second-round game at Corbett High School. Senior Ally Schimel tallied 45 points.

Crook County wrestling

The Cowboys were the runner-ups at the Class 4A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Crook County compiled 230.5 points. Sweet Home claimed the crown with 280. The Cowboys had three individual state champions in Landon Lavey (138 pounds), Gavin Sandoval (190) and Norman Reynolds (215).

Dallas girls wrestling

The Dragons claimed the runner-up spot at the Class 6A/5A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Dallas finished in second place with 106 points. Thurston triumphed with 140.5. Polly Olliff won an individual title at 110 pounds.

The Dragons powered their way to the championship at the Class 5A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Dallas claimed first place with 219.5 points. Thurston placed second with 202. Joseph Johnson won an individual state title at 120 pounds.

Echo girls basketball

The 14th seeded Cougars opened the Class 1A state playoffs by notching a 68-57 home win over Adrian. Echo posted a 51-41 win at No. 3 seed Jordan Valley in a second-round playoff tilt. The two wins give the Cougars a 20-8 record entering the Class 1A state tournament.

Elkton boys basketball

The 19th-seeded Elks earned two road playoff victories to earn a spot in the Class 1A state tournament. First, Elkton posted a 69-54 first-round win at Crosspoint Christian. Then, the Elks won 58-52 at No. 3 seed Open Door Christian Academy behind 24 points and 12 rebounds by junior wing Bodee Block. With the two wins, Elkton will take a 19-6 record to the state tournament.

Falls City boys basketball

The Mountaineers earned their first playoff win since 1992, topping Imbler 49-46 in a Class 1A first-round contest at Imbler. Senior Aaron Burgess scored 16 points.

The Eagles were the runner-ups at the Class 4A/3A/2A/1A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Harrisburg, with 80 points, trailed La Grande, which had 102. Paxton Steele won an individual state title at 110 pounds and Hannah Henderson triumphed at 155.

The Eagles soared to the championship at the Class 3A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Harrisburg claimed the crown with 285 points. Burns was second with 155. The Eagles boasted three individual state champions in Andrei Donayri (106 pounds), Luke Cheek (120) and Brody Buzzard (165).

Henley boys basketball

The Hornets notched a 53-51 home win over Phoenix to clinch sole possession of the Skyline Conference championship. Henley improved to 7-1 in conference play and 15-7 overall. Markus McCreadie scored 27 points.

La Grande girls wrestling

The Tigers earned the championship at the Class 4A/3A/2A/1A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. La Grande took first place with 102 points. Harrisburg was second with 80. Lyndie Isaason won an individual state championship at 115 pounds, and Maleigha Azure was second at 125.

Newberg wrestling

The Tigers powered their way to glory at the Class 6A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Newberg claimed the team title with 353 points, outdistancing second-place West Linn, which had 230. The Tigers crowned four individual state champions in Isaac Hampton (126 pounds), Gavin Rangel (132), Dillon Le (144) and Gus Amerson (150).

Portland Christian boys basketball

The Royals recorded a 58-38 home win over Illinois Valley in a Class 2A state playoff first-round game to improve to 26-0 entering the state tournament. Colby Getting had a triple-double.

Southridge boys basketball

The Skyhawks posted a 73-55 home win over Sunset to clinch sole possession of the Metro League championship. With the victory, Southridge improved to 10-2 in league play and 22-3 overall. Senior guard Kaden Groenig had 27 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Sweet Home wrestling

The Huskies triumphed at the Class 4A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Sweet Home claimed first place with 285 points. Crook County was second with 230.5. The Huskies crowned three individual state champions in Jesse Landtroop (106 pounds), Kyle Sieminski (120) and Ashton Swanson (175).

The Colts earned the championship at the Class 6A/5A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Thurston triumphed with 140.5 points. Dallas was second with 106. Izabella Castlebery won an individual state title at 155 pounds.

The Colts were the runner-ups at the Class 5A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Thurston, with 202 points, trailed Dallas, which had 219.5. Colton Annis claimed an individual state title at 144 pounds.

Toledo wrestling

The Boomers battled their way to the championship at the Class 2A/1A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Toledo claimed first place with 138 points. Willamina was second with 121.5. The Boomers crowned four individual state champions in Logan Gerding (132 pounds), Christian Retherford (144), Ash Blomstrom (190) and Cody Vance (215).

Tualatin girls basketball

The Timberwolves earned a 62-26 win over rival Tigard in a Three Rivers League finale at Tigard High School to wrap up sole possession of the league championship. With the victory, Tualatin finished league play 11-1 with a 19-4 overall record entering postseason play. Junior post Jordyn Smith had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

West Linn wrestling

The Lions finished in second place in the team standings at the Class 6A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. West Linn claimed the runner-up spot with 230 points. Newberg won the title with 353. The Lions had four individual state champions in Colby Cook (120 pounds), Oscar Doces (138), Henry Dillingham (157) and Charles Spinning (165).

Willamina wrestling

The Bulldogs, with 121.5 points, took second place at the Class 2A/1A state tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Toledo claimed the crown with 138. Kisor Savage was second at 120 pounds.
