Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for Feb. 26-March 3 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Amity girls basketball

The Warriors claimed the runner-up spot at the Class 3A state tournament at Marshfield High School. Amity, which recorded a 46-44 win over Sutherlin in the semifinals, fell 77-51 to unbeaten Corbett in the championship contest. Alyssa McMullen paced the Warriors with 14 points in the title game.

Bandon girls basketball

The Tigers put together a 27-3 season, which ended with a 45-40 loss to Western Christian in the Class 2A state tournament championship game at the Pendleton Convention Center. Bandon, which notched a 43-21 win over Regis in the semifinals, received a team-high 16 points from Katelyn Senn in the title contest.

Cascade boys basketball

The top-seeded Cougars earned the opportunity to win their third consecutive state championship by getting a 77-37 win over La Grande in a Class 4A state playoff first-round contest at Cascade High School. Kaiden Ford tallied 20 points, five assists, four rebounds, four steals and a block.

Cascade Christian boys basketball

The Challengers won their third consecutive state championship, topping Westside Christian 78-59 in the Class 3A state title tilt at Marshfield High School. Senior post Austin Maurer had 29 points and 18 rebounds in the championship contest for Cascade Christian, which finished the season 24-6.

Central Catholic boys basketball

The top-seeded Rams earned a 63-49 win over Mountainside in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Central Catholic High School. Senior Marley Zeller led a balanced Rams scoring attack with 17 points.

Clackamas girls basketball

The Cavaliers earned a chance to defend the Class 6A state title it won last year, besting West Salem 75-50 in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Clackamas High School. Junior Sara Barhoum scored 28 points. Junior Jazzy Davidson added 22 points.

Corbett girls basketball

The Cardinals capped a perfect season by soaring to a 77-51 win over Amity in the Class 3A state tournament championship game at Marshfield High School. The win gave Corbett a season record of 27-0. Senior Ally Schimel scored 42 points in the title tilt. Junior Lilly Schimel added 30 points.

Crane boys basketball

The Mustangs claimed their third consecutive state championship, downing Nixyaawii 65-51 in the Class 1A state tournament title contest at Baker High School. Crane, which finished the season 29-1, got 25 points and 10 rebounds from Josh Zander in the championship game victory.

Crane girls basketball

The Mustangs wrapped up a perfect season by powering their way to a 59-39 win over North Douglas in the Class 1A state tournament championship game at Baker High School. Crane, which finished the season 30-0, got 29 points and 16 rebounds from Kaitlyn Siegner in the title contest.

Grant boys basketball

The 11th-seeded Generals claimed a berth to the Class 6A state tournament by notching a 69-47 win over Liberty in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Liberty High School. Senior Charlie Kapranos led the way with 19 points.

Grants Pass girls basketball

The 14th-seeded Cavers earned a 54-45 win over third-seeded McMinnville in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at McMinnville High School. Senior guard Brooke Anderson had 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Nixyaawii boys basketball

The Golden Eagles battled their way to the championship game at the Class 1A state tournament at Baker High School. Nixyaawii, which bested North Douglas 74-55 in the semifinal round, got 21 points from Symon Picard in the title contest.

North Douglas girls basketball

The Warriors fought their way to the runner-up spot at the Class 1A state tournament at Baker High School. North Douglas, which finished its season 27-4, bested Powder Valley 60-44 in the semifinals before falling 59-39 to unbeaten Crane in the title game. Brooke McHaffie had a team-high 16 points in the championship game.

Portland Christian boys basketball

The Royals came oh-so-close to achieving perfection, taking a 27-0 record to the Class 2A state championship game before falling 62-36 to Western Christian in the title tilt at the Pendleton Convention Center. Portland Christian, which beat Mannahouse Academy 42-39 in the Class 2A semifinals, received a game-high 17 points from Sam Fundak in the championship game.

Silverton girls basketball

The top-seeded Foxes posted a 58-30 win over North Eugene in a Class 5A state playoff first-round contest at Silverton High School. Senior Kyleigh Brown led the Foxes with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

South Medford girls basketball

The top-seeded Panthers rallied to notch a 56-45 win over Sherwood in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at South Medford High School. Junior Sara Schmerbach had 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and six steals.

Springfield girls basketball

The Millers earned a chance to defend their Class 5A state championship by getting a 61-51 win over Central in a Class 5A state playoff first-round game at Springfield High School. Senior Danaeja Romero-Ah Sam had 27 points, four steals and three assists.

Summit boys basketball

The top-seeded Storm grabbed a Class 5A state tournament bid, topping Canby 80-54 in a first-round game at Summit High School. Senior Pearson Carmichael had 27 points and 14 rebounds.

Tualatin boys basketball

The Timberwolves earned a chance to win their third consecutive state championship, recording a 79-70 win over West Salem in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Tualatin High School. Senior wing Jaden Steppe scored a game-high 30 points.

Western Christian boys basketball

The Pioneers won the Class 2A state championship, topping previously unbeaten Portland Christian 62-36 in the state tournament title game at the Pendleton Convention Center. Western Christian, which finished the season 30-1, got a team-high 15 points from senior Kuga Matsumoto in the championship contest.

Western Christian girls basketball

The Pioneers got to cut down the nets, winning the title at the Class 2A state tournament with a 45-40 win over Bandon in the championship game at the Pendleton Convention Center. Avery Herber had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Pioneers, who finished the season 30-1.

Westside Christian boys basketball

The Eagles claimed the runner-up spot at the Class 3A state tournament for the second consecutive year. Westside Christian, which bested Harrisburg 56-48 in the semifinals, fell 78-59 to Cascade Christian in the state title contest. Senior Dax Hanzlik scored 32 points in the final for the Eagles, who finished the season 23-6.

Wilsonville boys basketball

The Wildcats earned a chance to defend their state title by notching a 49-36 win over Central in a Class 5A state playoff second-round contest at Wilsonville High School. Junior Emmitt Fee had 13 points and 15 rebounds.
