Ethan Blair, Rochester baseball
Helped lead Rochester to a 2-0 win over Sewickley Academy in the WPIAL Class 3A quarterfinals. Blair threw a complete game shutout and struck out 10 hitters.
Zach Brockner, Owen J. Roberts baseball
In the Pioneer Athletic Conference semifinals on Wednesday, Brockner threw a complete game shutout in leading the Wildcats to a 3-0 win over Perkiomen Valley. He allowed just two first inning hits and walked one while striking out five.
Myles Calderbank, Neshaminy baseball
In a 12-0 win over Bensalem on Monday, Calderbank went 3-for-3 with a double. He drove in four runs and scored twice.
Brady Cree, Fairfield baseball
The sophomore hurler went the distance on the mound in a 3-1 win over York Catholic. He allowed just the one run on four hits and struck out three.
Madi Fischer, South Side softball
In the WPIAL 1A tournament on Tuesday, Fisher threw a complete game shutout in a 14-0 win over Northgate. She also collected three hits, drove in three runs and scored three times to help her own cause.
Jason Fultz, Cathedral Prep baseball
The sophomore hit a home run and drove in three runs on Monday as Cathedral Prep defeated Corry 13-0.
Maddie Gross, Seneca Valley softball
The senior hit two homers and drove in seven runs in a 17-1 win over Bethel Park in the WPIAL Class 6A quarterfinals. Her last home run ended the game due to the run rule.
Logan Houser, Susquehannock baseball
In the York-Adams tournament championship game on Monday, Houser threw six innings of shutout baseball and allowed just one hit as Susquehannock defeated Delone Catholic 3-0.
Alexis Hrivnak, Springdale softball
In the WPIAL 1A quarterfinals on Friday, Hrivnak went the distance and allowed just one run while striking out 18 hitters in a 2-1 win.
Emma Maurer, Tri-Valley softball
She threw a complete game shutout on Tuesday as Tri-Valley defeated North Schuylkill 3-0. In the game, she fanned 13 hitters.
Angelina Pepe, Norwin softball
In the first round of the WPIAL 6A playoffs, Pepe allowed just one run on five hits and had nine strikeouts in an 11-1 win over Baldwin. At the plate, she hit two home runs with three RBI.
Miranda Shafer, North East softball
In a 21-11 win over Mercyhurst Prep on Thursday, the junior hit two homers and drove in six runs. She also finished the game with three hits and four runs scored.
Edwin Smink, Henderson baseball
The senior threw six innings of shutout baseball in a 2-o win over Bishop Shanahan on Wednesday. He allowed just four hits and struck out 14 while not walking a single batter.
Grayson Weikel, Faith Christian Academy baseball
In a game where Faith Christian Academy scored 16 runs, Weikel had three hits, including two homers and a double. He drove in seven runs and scored twice in the 16-0 win over Delaware County Christian.
Kendall Young, St. Marys softball
In a 5-0 win over Elk County Catholic on Friday, the junior went the distance in the circle for the shutout. She allowed just one hit and struck out 15 batters.
