Dashawn Carter, South Allegheny
In a game against Greensburg Salem, Carter tracked the pass from his quarterback and went up to make the one-handed touchdown catch with the defender on him.
Tiqwai Hayes, Aliquippa
In the win over Central Valley, the sophomore running back took a handoff, hopped over one of his offensive linemen who was completing a pancake block and took off down the sideline for a 72-yard run. He would later score on the drive. (Play at 1:29 of video)
Josh Jenkins and Jaymont Green-Miller, Sto-Rox
In a win over Seton La Salle, Jenkins threw a dime to Green-Miller, who made the catch and went in for the 59-yard touchdown.
Jahmil Perryman, McKeesport
In the game against Thomas Jefferson, Perryman scored the first touchdown of the game on a read option where he kept the ball, juked one defender and then put another defender into the ground on his way to a 62-yard score.
Jayvin Thompson, Central Valley
Against Aliquippa, Thompson went up for a pass and caught it over the defender and held on for the completion despite falling backwards. The play set up a Central Valley score.
Tyree Turner and Nate Dlugos, Greensburg Central Catholic
In the win over Leechburg, Turner threw a nice pass to Dlugos, who made the juggling catch and held off a defender on his way to the touchdown.
Payton Wehner and Peter Gonzalez, Pittsburgh Central Catholic
In Central Catholic’s 27-14 win over Gateway, Wehner threw a perfect pass and Gonzalez hauled it in with one hand.
