Mia Arndt, Montour softball
Started the week off with a bang, going 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and four RBIs in a 16-12 win over Avonworth.
Chase Deibler, East Pennsboro baseball
Went a perfect 3-for-3 in a 14-4 win over Hanover and drove in five runs. His hits included a double and a triple.
Dylan Fegley, Northern Lebanon baseball
The junior did it on the mound and at the plate in the Vikings’ 6-0 win over Bermudian Springs. He tossed 6.2 innings, giving up four hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. At the dish, he was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Breanna Hanley, Sharpsville softball
In an 8-0 win over Seneca, she tossed a one-hitter and struck out nine while walking two.
Kara Hansloven, St. Mary’s softball
In the Flying Dutch’s 8-1 win over Clearfield, she was a perfect 4-for-4 at the dish with a pair of RBIs.
Payton Hinish, Claysburg-Kimmel softball
The freshman blasted a grand slam in an 11-5 win over West Branch.
Emma Maurer, Tri-Valley softball
Tossed a three-hitter and struck out 12 as the Bulldogs defeated Marian Catholic 7-0.
Brady Myers, Central Mountain baseball
In a 6-0 win over DuBois Catholic, he went 6.2 innings and allowed just two hits and four walks while striking out nine.
Elias Owens, Elk Lake baseball
Tossed a complete game one-hitter with two walks and eight strikeouts as the Warriors picked up a 4-0 win over Mountain View.
Joe Peters, Dallas baseball
Was the catalyst of the Moutaineers offense in an 11-0 win over Honesdale, going 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs while scoring twice.
Richie Preston, West Middlesex baseball
Preston went 6.2 innings, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out 10 as the Big Reds defeated Saegertown 2-0.
Kade Sell, Bishop Guilfoyle baseball
Went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs as the Marauders defeated Harmony Area 14-3.
Julia Shearer, North Penn softball
In the District 1-6A title game on Friday, she tossed a perfect game and struck out 16 in a 5-0 win over Havorford. Plus, when the Knights beat Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday in 10 innings, Shearer went the distance and allowed just one earned run while striking out 22 hitters.
David Shields, Mt. Lebanon baseball
In the WPIAL Class 6A championship game, Shields tossed a no-hitter in a 4-0 win over North Allegheny. He finished the game with nine strikeouts and walked one, while hitting a pair of batters.
J.C. Spinosa, Liberty baseball
Led the Hurricanes offense in a 13-3 win over Parkland, going 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and five RBIs.
