And yes, snow was falling.

Welcome to WIAA football in the COVID-19 era, which began Friday afternoon with the Gig Harbor High School Tides hosting the Curtis High School Vikings in a 4A SPSL jamboree at Roy Anderson Field in Purdy.

Both teams ran approximately 25-30 controlled-scrimmage plays, and the varsity squads finished up in 45 minutes.
