Photos: Rigby beats Highland to win second 5A Idaho state football title in three years
Tiger Adolpho threw four touchdown passes and helped the Trojans gain an early two-score advantage
POCATELLO — A year after suffering a gut-wrenching loss on high school football's biggest stage, Rigby is standing tall.
The Trojans built an early lead and held on to beat Highland 27-12 in the Idaho 5A state football championship on Friday evening at Holt Arena to win their second title in three years.
Senior quarterback Tiger Adolpho threw four touchdown passes, including a 32-yard heave to Brady Packer to give Rigby a 27-10 lead with just over nine minutes left in the fourth quarter.
