It appears the Oregon Ducks' current recruiting trail hot streak is going to continue.

This weekend, Oregon is set to host an impressive collection of high school football prospects, highlighted by five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor and Under Armour All-American offensive tackle Miles McVay.

That could lead to future success along the offensive line, as Oregon recently signed class of 2022 five-star offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. and hopes to build upon that momentum.

But it's on the other side of the ball that Dan Lanning's program is most likely to pick up a commitment.

247Sports four-star safety Kodi Decambra enters this weekend's trip quite high on the Ducks and said this week that he could see himself committing during his visit.

If, in fact, that were to happen, Oregon fans might have to wait to hear that decision publicly.

The 6-foot, 180-pound safety, out of Bishop Gorman High School (Las Vegas, Nevada), said he expects to announce a college commitment - to Oregon or elsewhere - on May 30.

That leaves plenty of time for a change-of-heart, and Decambra has significant interest in Arizona, Washington and others.

But with sky-high hopes for his weekend visit to Oregon, Decambra feels close to a commitment.

How significant would that pledge be for the Ducks?

Decambra is rated the nation's No. 214 overall prospect, the No. 16 safety and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Nevada.

That's a very solid prospect to add into the fold.

Decambra could also potentially help Oregon build a pipeline to Bishop Gorman, one of the top high school football programs in the West region.

It's not done yet, and in the modern recruiting era nothing is certain, but "Decambra to Oregon" is becoming more and more likely.

Here's what 247Sports recruiting analyst Cooper Petagna wrote in his scouting report on the Nevada bluechip defender:

"Exhibits good knee bend and hip flexibility in his back pedal, shows the ability to transition in and out of breaks smoothly. Displays good short area change of direction and plant / drive ability. Flashes good burst to close ability and range playing the deep part of the field. Demonstrates above average instincts playing the ball in the air and flashes some ball production. Possesses good play speed, in addition to a 4.53 (40) verified time. Strong run support defender, shows the ability to key and diagnose and will strike you at the point of attack. Displays above average man to man ability in pass coverage, flashing the capability to see significant snaps as a slot defender."
