Isaiah Hardge, St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) 3-star wide receiver, commits to Colorado Buffaloes

St. Thomas Aquinas wide receiver Isaiah Hardge held offers from Colorado, Florida, Ole Miss, Penn State and others

St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Florida) produces some of the top high school football talent in the country, so it's no surprise many college football coaching staffs work to build a pipeline to the powerhouse program.

A lot programs may come mind, but few would immediately guess that the Colorado Buffaloes have worked to establish that cross country connection.

In the class of 2021, Colorado signed three-star defensive lineman Allan Baugh. Last year, the Buffaloes secured running back Anthony Hankerson.

On Wednesday, Colorado made it three in a row, as three-star wide receiver Isaiah Hardge announced his commitment.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound pass-catcher chose the Buffaloes over offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina and Texas A&M:

Hardge is rated the nation's No. 126 wide receiver, but has been a priority recruit for wide receiver coach Phil McGeoghan.

Colorado has the nation's No. 10 recruiting class, but much of that has to do with its 10 pledges - all of whom are three-star prospects.

Still, there's early (and positive) momentum for the Buffaloes in the 2023 recruiting cycle.
