Rainier Beach High School athlete and consensus four-star cornerback Caleb Presley is one of the top defensive backs in the West region.

And has garnered significant recruiting buzz nationally.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Washington product holds nearly 30 scholarship offers from some of the top college football programs in America.

On Friday, Presley announced his top 12: Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington:

Presley, the nation's No. 9 cornerback, has already been invited and accepted an invitation to the All-American Bowl.

He has kept his recruitment close to the vest, but some have speculated Oregon may have an inside track given its budding pipeline in the state of Washington and the recent signing of Rainier Beach five-star offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr.

Still, the battle for his services is far from over, and it's a 12-team race.
