Less than a week ago, the USC Trojans and Lincoln Riley snagged Manor High School (Texas) four-star running back Quinten Joyner

On Sunday, USC added a second Texas four-star running back to its 2023 recruiting haul, as Hirschi High School (Texas) ball-carrier A'Marion Peterson committed to the Trojans during his weekend visit to campus.

The 6-foot, 200-pound playmaker, who is rated the nation's No. 13 running back, chose the Trojans over offers from Alabama, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Penn State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and others.

As a junior, Peterson carried the ball 238 times for 1,817 yards and 28 touchdowns.

USC's 2023 recruiting class consists of five pledges - Los Alamitos five-star quarterback Malachi Nelson, Bishop Gorman five-star wide receiver Zachariah Branch, Los Alamitos five-star athlete Makai Lemon, as well as the Texas running back duo of Joyner and Peterson.
