It's only fitting that the first day of the 2022 NFL Draft began and ended with Georgia Bulldogs defenders being selected, as that nucleus led them to the national title.
How good was that group collectively?
First-round pick Jermaine Johnson II transferred from Georgia to Florida State for more playing time and ended up being a first-round pick himself.
Cine went No. 32 overall to the Minnesota Vikings.
Coming out of Trinity Christian School (Texas), Cine was viewed as a future NFL safety.
