Few high schools in America produce more football talent than Mater Dei (California).

But even at the star-studded school, class of 2025 running back Jordon Davison stands out.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound ball-carrier played at the varsity level for the national champion Monarchs, rushing for 188 yards and four touchdowns on the season while averaging 6.3 yards per carry.

Perhaps that's why he's racked up nearly 30 scholarship offers, including many from the nation's top schools - Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and USC to name a few.

Still, Davison said the offers are just reminders that he needs to perform every time he steps on the field to prove he's worth the attention.

"It shows me I've got to stay humble, stay productive and produce to the level this college are expecting me to do," he said. "It lets me know I need to stay focused."

Given his humble approach, little has surprised the dynamic young back so far.

But he was blown away when he received an offer from Alabama this week.

"Alabama, I didn't expect it at all," he said. "I was literally pulling into my driveway and I found out. I was like, 'Wow.' It was like my experience when I got an offer from Ohio State."

Given the offer, Tuscaloosa has immediately become a must-see destination for Davison.

"I, for sure, got to go up there," he said. "I'll go there in June, and probably hit up Auburn and North Carolina."

Hoping to gather information on his options, Davison is already taking visits to better inform his recruitment.

"Every school is different," he said. "Everybody else has something to offer."

The Mater Dei star has already been to California, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC and others.

But rather than focus on his recruitment, Davison emphasized that part of his life will take care of itself as long as he focuses on improving himself as a running back every day.

"I've always tried to keep myself humble," he said. "Since I was a little kid I was the best player on the team, but everybody would say I had the best attitude on the team and was the most coachable on the team. I'm always going to be coachable and listen to what they have to say. It's going to help me."
