Pittsburg High School (California) four-star wide receiver Rashid Williams recently announced a top six of Arizona, California, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Stanford and Washington.

He also scheduled official visits to Washington (May 13), Oregon State (June 3) and California (June 23).

But fresh off his visit to Seattle, the dynamic 6-foot-2, 185-pound pass-catcher has set a commitment date for Thursday.

Prediction: Rashid Williams to Washington

The quick commitment date is somewhat surprisingly, as the last time I spoke to Williams about his recruitment he was dead-set on taking his official visits.

But, he also had high praise for Washington previously stemming from a visit in in April.

It seems that the official visit with the Huskies was enough to convince Williams to shut down his recruitment.

Williams is rated as a four-star prospect and the nation's No. 25 wide receiver and is one of the top uncommitted pass-catchers left in the West region.

He would be the first bluechip verbal commitment for Kalen DeBoer in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

As it currently stands, Washington has three commitments In its class - all from California: Bakersfield running back Tybo Rogers, Adelanto wide receiver Keith Reynolds and St. John Bosco linebacker Deven Bryant.
