One of the top wide receivers in the West region is set to come off the board.

Pittsburg High School (California) wide receiver Rashid Williams announced on Instagram that he will be making his college commitment Thursday.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound pass-catcher is rated the nation's No. 243 overall prospect and No. 25 wide receiver, but is also one of the top uncommitted receivers remaining on the West Coast.

A commitment announcement is somewhat surprising given that Williams had a busy official visit schedule set up, including upcoming trips to Oregon State (June 3) and California (June 23).

The Polynesian Bowl selection selection also just recently announced a top six of Arizona, California, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Stanford and Washington.

However, fresh off his official visit to Washington, Williams is ready to decide.

That could be great news for the Huskies.

So far, Washington has three pledges in its 2023 recruiting class, but Williams would be the first four-star addition.
