Coming out of a busy weekend of official and unofficial visits there's often a lot of major recruiting activity.

And Monday didn't disappoint.

LSU landed a pair of huge commitments, USC secured one of the top defensive backs West of the Mississippi River, Florida got a commitment from an in-state offensive lineman and a five-star quarterback scheduled a major announcement fresh off his visit to Oregon.

Here's a look at the top recruiting stories of the past 24 hours

- Following a visit to Oregon, 5-star quarterback Jaden Rashada schedules mysterious Tuesday announcement 

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound signal-caller is rated the nation's No. 29 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback. 

- Nation's No. 6 safety Braxton Myers commits to USC over Clemson, LSU and others

 "Back when the coaching staff was at Oklahoma, I really liked coach Grinch's defense and what he was doing with it," Myers said. "I could really see myself succeeding in it. And back in middle school, USC was always a dream of mine to go to. So when the staff went there in December, I felt like I wanted to go there, but I had to check it out first and make sure I really wanted to go there."

- Nation's No. 2 all-purpose back Trey Holly commits to LSU Tigers

As a junior, Holly added 2,633 yards and 33 touchdowns to that total to reach a staggering 7,829 yards and 108 touchdowns during his career.

This fall, his goal is a 3,000-yard, 50-touchdown season, as well as a third consecutive Louisiana 3A Offensive Player of the Year award. 

- Rockledge offensive lineman Bryce Lovett commits to Florida Gators 

"I'm going to Florida just because I feel most comfortable there," he said. "I like everything they've got going on. I love the new coaching staff, I love how they run things and I love what they are doing for the players on and off the field. I just feel at home there."

M'Pemba is rated the nation's No. 7 overall prospect and No. 1 athlete by Rivals, but his future college position remains a bit of an unknown.

According to 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, the top performer - 'Alpha Dog' - of the event was Valley Christian High School (California) wide receiver and Oregon Ducks commit Jurrion Dickey:

- Bishop Gorman 4-star cornerback Jeremiah Hughes says Washington 'most definitely an NFL DB factory' following official visit

“It’s most definitely an NFL DB factory," Hughes said "I know if I want to get to the next level, Washington can get me there. Their history speaks for itself.” 

- Fast-rising 2025 Mater Dei running back Jordon Davison receives Alabama offer

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound ball-carrier played at the varsity level for the national champion Monarchs, rushing for 188 yards and four touchdowns on the season while averaging 6.3 yards per carry.

Perhaps that's why he's racked up nearly 30 scholarship offers, including many from the nation's top schools - Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and USC to name a few.

Given his family's success in the world of college football, it seemed inevitable Tyler Junior College (Texas) quarterback General Booty would find a Power 5 Conference fit, but it took some time.

The 6-foot-8, 195-pound playmaker is down to eight options: Arkansas, Auburn, Houston, Kentucky, Memphis, Texas, UCLA and the NBA's G-League.

Over the past two seasons, Davis has amassed 4,047 yards and 45 touchdowns on the ground, highlighted by a 2,422-yard, 28-touchdown campaign as a junior.

“Going into the race, I wasn’t feeling too good," he said. "So, I was thinking at least second or third. Then, it just happened. I didn’t expect to win or anything. But it happened.”

- Nevada 4-star DL Kelze Howard trims list to 8 

Howard trimmed his list to a top eight of Arizona, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, USC and Utah.
