It's a very busy Thursday, as the top two running backs on the West Coast are set to come off the board.

Lincoln High School (California) star Roderick Robinson II got the ball rolling in the morning with his commitment to UCLA.

Next up is Lake Stevens High School (Washington) ball-carrier Jayden Limar, the top running back in the West region in the class of 2023.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound playmaker, who is rated the nation's No. 11 running back, is set to announce his commitment on CBS Sports HQ at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.

Limar is down to a final four of Arizona, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon.

Here's a look at where each program stands heading into Decision Day.

Arizona: The Wildcats have done a remarkable job of improving their recruiting efforts in the past year, and deserve a ton of credit.

But Arizona is expected to fall short here - even after extending the first offer to Limar's brother, class of 2025 running back Jayshon Limar

Michigan: There was a time when Michigan was viewed as a serious threat to land Limar, but that recruitment cooled somewhat in recent weeks and the Wolverines are no longer the threat they once were.

Notre Dame; I've already predicted Limar would end up at Notre Dame, and there's no reason to waver from that on Decision Day.

He's close to Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman and loved his visit to Notre Dame for the spring game.

While all four of Limar's finalists are viable options, his love for Notre Dame has really been clear for the past few weeks.

Of note, fellow four-star running back Sedrick Irvin Jr. de-committed from the Fighting Irish recently, which would make the ball-carrier need even more pressing in South Bend.

Oregon: Oregon's pipeline to Ford Sports Performance is well-established, as the Ducks have landed multiple FSP athletes in recent years, including Keith Brown, Troy Franklin, Ashton Cozart and others.

Dan Lanning's staff has also been an early offer machine for the program.

But the Ducks' recent addition of Mississippi running back Dante Dowdell may be telling, as Oregon looked to add a ball-carrier from outside the region immediately following the commitment date announcements of Limar and Robinson.

Oregon has subsequently offered other running backs, which is further evidence the staff doesn't believe they've secured their 1-2 punch from the 2023 class.

Prediction: Notre Dame

My prediction was Notre Dame immediately upon hearing Limar had set a commitment date, and nothing has changed.

The entire recruiting industry is unanimous in predicting the West Coast's top running back will end up in South Bend.
