It was a good week for Briarwood Christian High School (Alabama) quarterback and Clemson commit Christopher Vizzina.

The 6-foot-4, 207-pound signal-caller took his official visit to Clemson, added a couple of teammates via new commitment and earned five-star status in 247Sports' composite rankings.

Vizzina didn't mince words about his new ranking.

"It’s a dream come true," he said.

The Tigers future signal-caller is rated the nation's No. 33 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback.

As for his visit, Vizzina took on the dual approach of connecting with his future program and also being a peer recruiter.

"The official visit was unbelievable," he said. "It was just fun being with everyone."

Still, Vizzina's competitive streak came out.

While some of the recruits were messing around playing basketball,, the quarterback decided to show off his leaping ability with a dunk.

"People started dunking, so I was like, 'Well, I've got to show them what I can do.' I think I shocked a lot of people " he said.

Stopping short of hinting at new commitments, Vizzina believes Clemson is on a hot streak that is not going to end anytime soon.

"We are heating up, that’s all I can say," he said, knowingly.

The Tigers have added two pledges in as many days - Georgia four-star cornerback Avieon Terrell and Texas four-star offensive tackle Ian Reed.

Regardless of whether or not Clemson has a stack of silent commitments waiting to announce, the Tigers clearly have a happy future quarterback.

And he's now officially a five-star prospect.
