Vandegrift High School (Texas) offensive tackle Ian Reed had a busy June official visit schedule.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound lineman was set to take official visits to Clemson, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Texas.

But as it turned out, Reed only needed to take the first trip on his list - Clemson - to find his future home.

On Tuesday morning, he announced his commitment to the Tigers over offers from more than 25 schools, including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC and many others:

Reed is rated the nation's No. 225 overall prospect and No. 22 offensive tackle.

He is also the sixth Clemson pledge in the class of 2023, a group that is rated No. 16 nationally and is led by Alabama five-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina and Florida four-star wide receiver Nathaniel Joseph.

Reed also continues a strong week for the Tigers, who added coveted Georgia four-star cornerback Avieon Terrell on Monday.
